So far my max has been 4 days. Had a game where my torps killed a teammate charging the Red DD at max speed. Next battle I had some ill-timed gunfire that took down a low health Dallas.

Really well-done @Avenge_December_7!!

Great article, well researched and with details that even a hardcore Naval History fan was unfamiliar with.

Thank you, sir!

HAHAHAHA @CAPTMUDDXX, apologies. This thread necro'd a few hours ago.
So did you end up getting the Yubari? If not what did you get?

Regardless of ship class, BREAK CONTACT if at all possible. Getting out of the firing line is crucial.

Once clear of the cauldron, you can reassess the situation and find the best way to get back into the battle.

DD: Likely reposition and find a differnt angle of attack.

CA: Depending on the type of ship, perhaps falling back to support Cap or assist other ships unsupported.

BB: Taking the time to heal up as much as you can. Then choose your point of contact, or if spotted, seek to find an advantageous position.

For me, some of my fav matches had this situation and I had to find a way back to influence the match.

One of the most important questions @warpath_33 is how much do you play and enjoy low tier and tier 4 play? If this is one of your "Go-to" tiers on a regularly scheduled basis, then I the Yubari would be a perfect addition to your port. But if you rarely play at tier, it may end being a "port queen." Better to follow the advice of many here on this thread and keep saving for a ship that better suits your play style, and needs.

What ship would you love to pick up if the Yubari is not the next on your shopping list?

@Ensign_Cthulhuhits on a good idea.

Another might be to division up with others.

The USS Fletcher is one of my favorite ships to play in the game. Hope you can get back to the winning ways with her soon!

The Anchors Away Tour will be visiting the USS Alabama on the 12th of October. (See the link to more information below.)

But if you can at all make it, be sure to get to the USS Yorktown event. Patriots Point is an amazing place honoring and sharing 2 ships, USS Yorktown, and USS Laffey, and a submarine, USS Clagamore. Opportunities to visit parts of our living history are always amazing and with the Anchors Away Tour, we are incredibly excited to visit and celebrate these ships with our players.

The USS Iowa fits perfectly.
2 amazing pieces of engineering, the Panama Canal and the USS Iowa.

Does anyone know of any other USN current fleet that is too wide for the canal?

The hard part is walking the line between balance and realism. We do the best we with balancing secondaries.
That being said, having a secondary reload booster sounds interesting, terrifying on some ships, but interesting.

@hazegreyunderweigh has a good point. I think players always want to make something they love stronger/more useful. Again, the need for balance is something we constantly work on.
This thread has been informative to hear all sorts of different thoughts, so let me ask y'all this, how would you balance/Buff/Nerf secondaries?

The clock is very cool. I will pass y'alls feedback on.

@jags_domainI agree with your 5-year-old daughter. There should be a way to wake the cat!

Hey @Daohan_Li What BB are you primarily playing?

Are you using Secondary Build? If so what kind of build? What upgrades are you using?

I love using the Massachusetts, the Bismarck, and the Georgia to get in close and let the secondaries melt DD's .

Thank you for sharing the history and your passion for the HNLMS, @Lert

I agree with @Barazzuolio. Very surprised more folks are not mentioning the "Fighting-est ship." Solid hydro, rolling smoke, and the guns! I love the guns on the Haida. It is a Tribal class DD with 3 rather than 4 turrets. Love my Haida and will roll out in her amazing Maple Leaf camo!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion for the HNLMS.

What Admiral/special captain should go with the ships?

Also, how long have you been a fan of the history of the HNLMS?

Forum Streamline Icon: https://streamlinehq.com

Great pictures @Lert

I saw from an associated post you thought of the HNLMS De Zeven Provincien as tier 8 Prem ship. What other HNLMS ships could you see as Premiums in the game, and at what tier?

Forum Streamline Icon: https://streamlinehq.com

Thank you for putting some time and thought into this @Landsraad I would love to see the USS Pennsylvannia in-game from a historical point of view as well as the USS Tennessee.

In relation to the New Mex, I just started playing her again and had some really good games. Her speed is her weakness but IF she catches a ship IE in range, she makes them pay.

My question would be what would be the Premiums for these new lines?

Just a reminder, the AA visit to Patriots Point is under 1 month away now! HIGHLY recommend you get your tickets now if you are planning to go.

It's not only a great chance to meet some of the WoWS staff and amazing CC's, such as @ASHLEYakaASHLEY, but a fantastic chance to explore the living history of museum ships such as the USS Yorktown, the USS Laffey, and the USS Glagamore! If you can at all make the visit be sure to jump on the chance and grab tickets!

@ES1983 The IJN DD line is one of the most fun to play, IMO.

The advice given above is solid stuff and the resources provided and content shared is diverse. You should find at least one of the streamers/YouTubers who teaches in a way that best fits you.

The Community here is, on the whole, always willing to help and give advice. Welcome and best of luck, and I would suggest enjoying and learning each new DD as you go up the tiers.
