It's not bad news yet. (As I noted elsewhere in this thread, Update 6.6 is primarily a lot of fixes and tweaks.)

I also hope to hear more about the next update soon since I wont lie I'm worried, and have a feeling a lot of things are going to be unaddressed or at worst just removed like game modes have been previously
Minor update - I can definitively say it's NOT coming in 6.6. Outside of that, I'm, unfortunately, unable to comment further, at this time. (I'm really pushing for it to come to the game. As soon as we get closer to locking the final content update, we'll be able to share more details on what is going to be in Update 7.0.)

While waiting for the meteor shower, got confirmation that the minimum player bug in Community Games is tracked as fixed with Update 6.6.
u/Braddock512 will there be any new Community Games features in 6.6? And will be the round start bug be fixed in 6.6 too? (The bug where you need 16 people to break the pre round instead of 4 people)
They're still working on the Community Game features - but they won't be in this update.
I didn't see it in the draft of notes I have, but I do recall being told it was supposed to be addressed with this update. Let me check with the folks that are in the KNOW and I'll reply tomorrow morning. That cool?

Basically, the way it looks is that if the pilot bails but you destroyed part of the plane before they bail, you’ll get points.

You're not being a jerk, bud. Here's the deal: When EA (and all our studios around the world) went into Shelter-in-Home status at the beginning of March, we wanted to help keep people occupied while at home. That's why I've been doing game code giveaways for the last... 6 (or so) .. weeks.
Some folks want to play previous titles, like BF4 or BF1, so I made sure to get codes for those titles on all platforms as well. No strings attached - just play some games, stay inside, and stay healthy.
Will this update be bringing any team balancing? Read a post that you also briefly mentioning a way to keep servers full. Really hope these changes aren't discarded and are still being worked on.
They're working on a end-of-round balancer. It's currently being tested. I believe the intention is to roll it out with 6.6 - but the thing is - the testing they're doing is only on as big a scale as the studio can get with our QA folks and Studio. So, if it rolls out with 6.6 and doesn't properly behave the way it should, keeping servers full and balanced, it's possible it may be disabled (I believe there's a killswitch) to be adjusted.

Arras- smoke (i think thats what it is)

I don't know if im forgetting any others but those weather events are pretty separate in similarity I think?

BFV Community giveaways will be on Wednesdays only for now - with BF1 and BF4 on Thursdays.

I like it! Now, list out the maps you'd want, and the order you'd see. Keep in mind the flow that is necessary. Like, you don't want to bunch up 2 desert maps or two island maps, but you want it to be a different experience with each map.

will the nitro bug and british plane rockets be fixed in 6.6? it's annoying.... rocket farming on fjell and oneshooting tanks breaks the game.
Yes, (check my post below in this thread), I called both those out as being fixed with the upcoming Update.
With chapter 6 basically ended, will War in the Pacific be eventually removed? Also would it be possible for other playlists? Like War in Africa or War in Europe?
War in the Pacific will be replaced with other playlists that the team is working on rolling out. This should start with the final content update in June.

I updated my reply and clarified it - it's the rockets. (I also added a note that the AA has been improved to force fighters to be more careful and not just get easy kills on AA).
I think this was brought up a while ago. But is there any way to get a breakthrough playlist that is only with maps with weather effects on? Ive only played on hamada twice with the sandstorm. Its a complete different experience. Just like the fog on panzerstorm, or the air raid on devastation. These maps with the effects are enabled way to rarely. Would love to see playlist like that

will we see a *decent* armory update before the game is killed by dice/EA? or is the next update big enough on maps,weapons (lol,who am i kidding) to tone down the community anger?
I can't really discuss the 7.0 update in detail yet, but it does bring more content (not just skins) to the game. Once we get Update 6.6 out the door, we'll have another update to discuss the details of 7.0.
