[BUG]

Been fine for years but all of a sudden the following is happening;-

Menu is incredibly laggy. Mouse trials behind where my cursor is.

Loading into a server is taking in excess of 10 minutes, used to take 2.

When joining server, fine for 30-40 seconds however then incredibly laggy to the point where opening a container will white-screen my rust client.

Opening anything that opens UI takes ~20 seconds to react and ~2-3 seconds to close with tab.

(Containers, codelocks, recycler etc)

My friend saw my player disconnect however i continued to watch my friend run about / use containers / open doors etc.

My graphics card is fine & Has never been an issue before, this seems to be a network issue inside rust. I'm getting 40mb + download speeds so it's not my internet & im on LAN not WiFi so unsure of the cause.

Very much unplayable right now. Any ideas gang?

If you were running an AMD CPU this issue should now be resolved.

Few reasons really:

• Prevent players from spamming down lots of Wind generators within close proximity and generating a ton of power.
• Prevent players using Wind generators as a defensive structure, like an extra layer of honeycomb.
• Sense of realism as not to block wind flow.

You're unable to build that close to the wind generator.

why can't that be in the message? you give us weird messages when we can't plant seeds

Most if not all of the placement error messages are generic, we definitely need to do a better job at this.

We pushed a server update this morning to address this issue.

Server owners will need to update their servers to apply the fix.

[BUG] CAVES all over the map are randomly killing people. like the underground detection is picking up and killing the player. Players are randomly dieing when walking around cave and caves bases made are unable to get back to the base with dieing

[BUG] with all graphics (tree detail, max tree meshes, object quality etc) set to 200, the trees right next to you are rendered as low detail impostors, while the ones far away displayed in nice details, several people said this, vanilla server.

[BUG] Game fully crashes every 5 minutes or so for MAC users.

Please can you submit a ticket at our support site so we can grab some logs. It'll help us investigate and get a fix out quicker.

You're on the "Release" branch, you need to go into Rust properties and opt out of all beta programs.

[BUG]

Good afternoon, We are having a major issue with game crashing and has been reported on steam boards multiple times with people having same issue since update.

After update Game crashes after asset loading as the screen changes to "opening Scene" Systems gets slow and comes up with a windows error about rust stopped responding. Game crashes on every server. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, Verify Files, Restarting, Reloading video card drivers, update windows, none have helped the issue. even closed out discord and other apps. gave more virtual memory and nothing.

We've released a fix for this.

We hear you - We'll reevaluate this change for the next forced wipe.

[BUG] (randomly getting insta killed in caves) On Rustified Medium a vanilla server. Every player in our group[5 players] will randomly die while inside caves. We tried living in Large Sewers Hard, gave up and then moved to a smaller cave where this bug is still present.

We're currently looking into this and will be deploying some fixes shortly.

Update - We've released some fixes for this, server owners will need to update their servers.

[BUG] No way to organize batteries in parallel because when you group them back up again to a root combiner they are drained by the root combiner.

This is currently intended but we're looking at improving their behaviour in future.

[BUG] When hitting some trees, the red X becomes impossible to hit. Like you can physically hit it but it won’t trigger the X it. Instead it will just act as if you hit the tree.

Happens mostly with desert trees and sometimes on trees that grow in same area as mushroom (sorry don’t know biome name).

This is currently in our bug tracker and will be addressed shortly.
