Difficult to see exactly what is going on all the time, but definately a bigger issue in the last 2 or 3 days. Prior to that I never died to this.
Obviously a lot to respond to here. Thanks for taking the time to write all this up in a (quite frankly gorgeous and) easily legible format. I imagine I'll be reading and rereading this quite a bit while making references in my notes.
Edit: The "untitled" title is deceiving. Any plans to change it?
Edit 2: For future comments, please be sure to mention or restate, at least briefly, the sections or points you agree with.

How would you all say skill builds currently perform against Elite enemies? What are the situations that your skill builds don't feel up to snuff?
I appreciate the various feedback and anecdotes here everyone. That said, please be respectful of each other's opinions and experiences regarding their time with the game. Topics as complex and nuanced as this seldom have 'right' or 'wrong' answers.
Balance is always a touchy topic, since it fundamentally impacts everyone but can be (in a lot of cases) largely subjective. To that end it can help to have those subjective views from both people who do and do not primarily use whatever the thing is. Please be mindful of this as discussion about balance evolve so we can ultimately cultivate better feedback and less toxic discourse.
On a more personal note, I had an interesting conversation with a player about the Crossbow. The main conceit was that because the Crossbow is the only Spec. weapon that can proc an infusion on the BTSU gloves that it is in a unique spot against the other Spec weapons (giving it a huge bonus from possible synergy). Which, needless to say, I found incredibly fascinating.

Oh I didn't actually mean that, I meant how to actually hold it in your hands and fire it...I thought it was good down both bumpers but that's not working...

Despite reporting the posts he's still clogging the forum with posts that have nothing to do with Ubisoft games

Man you didn't see how it was on PTS that some healing skills were killing you, heck even reviver hive ...good times. There's still some teaking to be made as the duration bonus doesn't affect some stuff properly
I saw this the other day and thought it was crazy cool. I'm glad to see you all think similarly.

I never got the whole mass grave part of the game... it was a viral outbreak... you'd think they'd be burning the bodies, not burying them. Most viruses can't survive more than a few hundred degrees Fahrenheit and most crematoriums burn at a 1500 degrees or more Fahrenheit.
Thanks for the kind words. I'll be sure to make a note of your feedback - both the positive and the critical.

Thanks for the solid answers everyone.

Well at some point I'm going to have to play Raid and I'm doing it mute...
There's no way I'm listing to a load of you shouting and swearing... equally I have no mic or headset.
So any advice and yeah "Don't" will be ignored.
Alright. I'll be closing this thread for toxicity.
As a reminder, if you find other players in the game that are harassing you (or others), you suspect are cheating, or otherwise are breaking the rules, you are encouraged report them here. Thank you.
This is RNG being RNG. Though I will ask, what does it feel the drop rate of the EB is vs. what do you feel it should be?
Well done, Proffesional. 23/0/3 is a solid A grade in my book.
As with many discussions on Difficulty, sometimes the most effective approaches don't come from directly raising numbers. It is interesting that the "buff enemies" statement got responses that assumed you meant exclusively giving them more health, instead of more variety, more damage, more aggressive tactics, etc.
Interesting conversation to be had, as always. Just be sure to give others the benefit of the doubt when discussing.
I'm glad to hear all this action ended in an improved build loadout. I guess the quilt jokes live on for another day.
So this maintenance was pretty important... unlocking access to pieces of content for players. You can read the maintenance notes here.
