Perfectly perfect - as all things should be.

I'll be bookmarking this, thank you all for your efforts.

Reading through those stats made me start sweating. Great drop; great job.

You have a smart point, would be nice if a Ubi rep replied to this.

However, this is really weird, since it was unlocked: https://i.imgur.com/OgwQ9wl.png

I've made a note of this to pass along. I really appreciate the images as well.

I was supposed to have 143+ specialized keys -- now after logging into TU6, I have 45.

WTF happened?!

What platform did this occur on?

Still a lot of the same gear, yes... But more build opportunities, more combinations to try, more loadout slots to keep works-in-progress...

So basically you've just made the itemization even more complex, or complicated rather?

Like who is this game even for? Don't you realize that your clusterfuck of an itemization, along with boring gear sets and exotics, is what made people leave this game behind for good?

And even the ones who might want to give it a shot again, I guarantee you that a lot of those folks are outright scared to have to get an updated degree in Division 2's gearology again first.

I mean if you really developed this game for an amount of number crunching nerds that is equal to the amount of developers, then I'd say you're right on track.

But if you ever want this game to grow again, you HAVE TO make it more accessible, and unfuck all of your dysfunctional systems, concepts, and ideas in terms of gear.

The gear sets in The Division 1 were fine, and so were most exotics. The first game had a very comprehensible and accessible system for quickly and easily determining the quality of your loot. But sure, if you're hell-bent on dying on this hill of fake complexity, when in reality all the gear just feels more lackluster now, then by all means, stay seated on this throne of colossal failure.

Godspeed.

All fair, though a lot to address that needs to be looked at one point at a time. Pardon the jumbled quoting, some of your points refer to similar concepts, though separated.

That sort of depends on how you want to define complexity, especially in relation to another similar (but different) term: depth. If we understand complexity as the number of different things that go into making a build (how many gear slots, weapons, talents, attributes, skills, etc.) TU6 brings very few increases to this. Yes there are now more gear items as a result of opening up the previous slot-constrained brand sets, by adding a choice few new weapons...

But...

When we talk about depth, that's more in the spirit of how many different things that,...

Running a HW with BTSU for a wizard build? Dude, wut? You can make a much more viable build without using either of these items/sets and you'll receive a whole helluva alot more damage/haste as well without them. Gear sets are still not even close to something like Tactician, Striker, Nomad, Reclaimer, Pred from Div1.

For that build, it's not about running optimally. It's about wielding the powers of fire and lightning.

I can have other builds for when the going gets tough, but the wizard comes out when the Raiders are asleep.

The actual items included in the Standard Cache (the one limited to 100 items) will be on a sort of rotation, with items from other events cycling in and out. As more and more items were added to the previous Standard Pool, getting all the items in one go was possible, yes, but looking for any one particular item became increasingly more difficult (especially because the Standard Cache allows for duplicates.)

With this change, if you're looking for a particular piece of customization, you can stock up your keys and narrow your search, waiting until the item you want rotates into the cache. If you're looking to collect them all, this change decreases your overall chance of getting duplicates as you climb closer and closer to completing your collection.

Hope this helps assuage some of your concerns.

The servers will shut down for maintenance on Tuesday, October 15th at 09:30 AM CEST / 03:30 AM EDT / 12:30 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours. We will be deploying Episode 2 / Title Update 6 during this period.

You can follow the thread here for updates at/during/concluding the maintenance.

As others have mentioned, these changes should be coming with TU6. The wording is admittedly rather brief in our Explorers Event & Upcoming Changes post... But it's there!

Changes to how you earn Standard Apparel Caches are coming with Title Update 6.

Still a lot of the same gear, yes... But more build opportunities, more combinations to try, more loadout slots to keep works-in-progress...

More ways to more finely optimize more playstyles.

If you're like me and want to make a Wizard Build with Hard Wired and BTSU, you can.

If you want to make a Blitzer Build that never stops moving and shooting, you can.

If you want to combine True Patriot with a Liberty Pistol Build for the most patriotic loadout possible, you can.

Hey. Was the only similarity between the vanished mods the 5% AR damage? Were they missing from equipped gear or just from your inventory?

Has anyone else experienced this oddity?

Also, what platform are you on?

Reddit Gold well deserved. Fantastic post. Video game soundtracks and scores can be so easily overlooked during gameplay but are so important for tone, aesthetic, and the cohesive experience.

Thanks for the in-depth look at some of the sounds of The Division as well as the impressive list of recommendations. I'll be keeping this thread bookmarked for sure.

P.S. Full OSTs and individual music tracks from various Ubisoft games can also be found on our UBILOUD channel.

Love some of these pictures that really capture the abandoned nature of TD2's DC. Really impressive stuff.

As many others have echoed in the comments, we've got your back, Agent. You're in friendly territory here.

As I've mentioned on other threads talking about builds and the meta... hybrid builds (jack of all trades builds) being among the best and mostly predominant in the meta seems (to me, personally) to be the ideal jumping-off point. With this, each of the different polarized builds give and take from the core of the hybrid - ideally.
MutantCowby, with this video and discussion, has pointed out that hybrids very well may be too strong, with negligible gains for pretty serious losses if you try to specialize, or pretty consistent gains for minimal losses if you just go harder into the hybrid.
To jump off of something MutantCowboy said specifically...
A full red build should have a huge damage advantage, but they just don't. A full yellow build should be beyond any other skill users in terms of effectiveness
What do you feel is a good high-benchmark for each of the different polarized build types? What is the most that the best optimized build in a parti... Read more

This conversation seems to be in a similar vein as the post-mission readout. While there are definitely some that might use the information available to be more toxic, additional information tends to lead to more benefits than drawbacks.
That said, as TimesLostArc brings up, we can definitely talk about some of the more specific pros and cons of having such data available for easy access.

If you are suspicious that this player may have been cheating, please submit a Report to Ubisoft Support, and include as much information as you can including those screenshots. From there we'll take the appropriate actions.
As a side note, I appreciate that you didn't come on here hard and fast to try and make a public hackusation. Oh, and Welcome to the forums!

For sure - synergy is ideally an addition, not a crutch or compensation (at least in this case).
Please be respectful of other's opinions and gameplay preferences, everyone. This is an insightful thread so far and I would appreciate it if we could keep it that way. Read more

Sounds like it may be a file download issue. Try uninstalling the game, updating Uplay, then reinstalling The Division 2. If you're still running into these crashes, please contact Ubisoft Support for additional assistance.

Additionally, if anyone could provide a video of this happening, it would be extremely beneficial.
