As an RPS counter to destructive builds this works for sure, but given your experience running skill builds in Conflict do you see any non RPS outplays or curve balls to what may or may not become a destructive meta? I'm curious as to your opinion here. Obviously Banshee would block a skill user and blind would prevent them from targeting drones or seekers, but I wonder what other options there are. A good build system would afford more than strict RPS systems of counters don't you think?
While I can understand the frustration of having a skill go haywire and take out a drone instead of the more significant source of the drone... it might provide an interesting tactical mixup for skill build players. While your skills do most of the raw damage, you might need to be more focused on eliminating what are essentially decoys.
Maybe it's just me but I always enjoy the moment-to-moment changes that can come with using different builds with different priorities.
Thanks for the intel, Goo-Goo.
Interesting to see how he stacks up against some of the other antagonists and puppet masters at play.
Here's the link to the official Discord in case you're curious.

And welcome to the forums!

Just a sort of unrelated to the game thread... Is there a way to view these forums in a dark theme? I prefer not having white backgrounds.. it just hurts my eyes..
I know there are some people here on this forum who are are going to break their 'C' key upon seeing this thread...
Alright. I'll be closing this thread now due to toxicity. This conversation has played out more than a handful of times across different threads and different sub forums and always ends in the same toxic mess.
@OP, I appreciate your original intent to discuss the balance of the EB, but this thread has now gotten caught in the usual discussion loop and has become far too flame-war-y.
Yes. There is a major title update coming in 2 days that had, during its PTS, some tweaks for PvP.
Can you please be more specific about issues you think are being unaddressed within PvP?

the build would be fine if the game was tune for that kinda gameplay but it isnt. right now a full dps team wouldve steam rolled through of everything right away. there is no need for team synergy. i have been playing elder scrolls online and a team full of dps would get destroyed in veteran dungeons or at least get wiped frequently. the game asks for roles in order to get through it efficiently. this game does not demand that. it doesnt demand team work. the only thing this game requires out of players is for them not to die and if they die for someone else to pick em up.
Thank you for the answers and clarifications, everyone.
To be clear, discussions about loot, RNG and various build elements are helpful and can provide valuable feedback for us... but these kind of weird build measuring contests don't really add anything other than a catalyst for discourse to turn toxic, as we're starting to see crop up in this thread already.
Please keep in clean or I will be closing this thread down. Thank you.
I appreciate the detailed advice here, everyone. It's always interesting to see what each group thinks are baseline requirements for the Raid.
I think it will be more interesting to see how that window shifts after TU5 as well...
I appreciate the variety of feedback on display in this thread, everyone. You have a lot of major and minor topics covered here.
Akogooth, feel free to link to your thread in case it got buried by an influx of posts.
This FAQ should provide the various links you may be looking for all in one place. As YodaMan said, if you have additional questions or concerns you'd like to raise privately, please feel free to send me a PM.

How do I get the mini gun?
Owning the Year One Pass circumvents the need for these side-objectives, and they will grant cosmetics instead. Read more
Just to clarify, are you saying there's no first mission shown when you scroll up on that list, or are they all done but not registering as a full 4/4?

Video available if desired but it doesn't add more info than already shared.

I hope I'm proven wrong cause I'm looking forward to answering the calls for help and seeing how it works....but I've just got a very low opinion on humanity in general and this system specifically.

not pointless, I want the experience of the raid and the story. Without matchmaking I would never get it, my pool of friends that play this is small and most of the time only 2 of us are on at a time if that
Hey everyone.
Thanks for the introduction, UbiInsulin.
Happy to be joining the team, and looking forward to talking to and getting to know you all in the coming months. I'll be spending a bit of time getting my bearings and gaining a feel for the space, but then I'll be jumping right in.
While I'm at it, I might as start with a strong opener: G.R.A.W. is one of my favorite GR titles.
But Breakpoint is looking like a possible usurper for me.
See you in the threads.
