We just released small technical update 0.12.4.6716 related to boot.config issue. It looks like the Unity incorrectly set some parameters in the config file during project build (it was found that instead of "1" there was blank value in some parameters). We changed this config file and added a couple of fixes, so, please, update the game, check how the performance will be (better, the same or worse) and write about it in this topic. Thanks!
Also thanks to u/lowsisback for pointing to this potential problem! We hope that the fix will work (so far we checked and don't have any noticeable boost in performance). But we need a massive test to collect statistics and possible new issues.

So having read through, we can't actually fix this ourselves and shouldn't bother trying. Some folks say this only works for DX12.

Though Nikita did reply so maybe it will actually be patched soon? Unless you actually post good instructions in how to change the config ourselves no one can prove you're telling any kind of truth or if this is just a placebo effect.

let us check everything. yes, unity is telling that this is not working with directx11. and keep telling that this is impossible. we will check everything, maybe even switch this parameters how they should be to mass test it

Nikita, we cannot test this because that file is protected by EFT's consistency checks. You can work around it in this case but you need to know how to do this, and most people won't know

this settings are pretty limited. you will not be able to overbright or oversharp for example. with the introduction of our post fx setting all other 3-rd party post-fx will be blocked

thats cause its unity related crash which came with unity engine microupdate. and we are working on rolling it back

Good day to all!

We, like most people in the world, support measures to combat the new global problem, coronavirus, and, at the end of last week, we moved to remote development. Everything went ok and we are almost fully operational from our homes.

The next small update version 12.4.2, which will contain several major freezes and stuttering fixes. Right after it we plan to prepare and release update 12.5, which will contain:

  • Quick healing feature (at the end of the raid)
  • Post-effects settings (sharpness. color grading setting etc.)
  • Some optics rendering optimizations
  • Various bug fixes
  • QoL improvements, such as the dependence of mouse sensitivity on the magnification of optics

Further development of the project is divided into patches - 12.6, 12.7, etc. So, the next patch 0.12.6 is also aimed at fixing bugs and optimization, but will have some new content.
