Don't tempt me.
Do it + a Kubrow as Donkey.
We have a fix coming for this.
I smell a lake spider inbound.
Haha no, Buried Debts is just an update pun I thought was clever T_T!
That's some big cojones to release what they will show on tennocon on the same day. Looking forward to it :).
Hopefully that's the case - "Ship what we Show' is definitely more a ambition reflection of showing something A and shipping something that isn't exactly what was shown.
More clarity here:
2) We have a history with dates and ambition.
As recently as last year, we had immovable dates that put us in less than ideal situations for the game. We are making this choice using our past experience to guide us. We have a lot of Buried Debts in terms of ideas we’ve shown (but not shipped), and we want our TennoCon 2020 presentation to be an unmistakable reveal of what you see is what you get. We don't want to show a demo and release something months and months later. We want to ship what we show (when it's ready, of course)!
Read moreYep, from my testing if you kill it too fast it breaks instead of transitioning to the next phase.
We are working on a fix for this based on reports we're seeing!

This suggestion is on the "DE plz" list as of now.
That means, every post about it will be removed.
And before anyone asks: yes, DE is aware of both the list itself, and this suggestion being added to it.
This change is actually coming with The Deadlock Protocol so you can move this one over soon :)
Or other options are that it was just replaced with a different room or was redesigned between this and when we got it. There is also the chance it will come out part of a later quest just wasn't used yet.
All of this is kind of true, this room is partially used in Erra's Quest for the cinematic :).. and potentially more wholesale in the future.
Mod types are roughly color-coded. Red is Damage, pink is Multishot, orange is Crit, and green is Elemental or IPS. Variant mods are counted the same (Amalgam Serration → Serration), and lower-tier version are rounded up (Heated Charge → Primed Heated Charge).
Rifle Builds
Only 27 different mods are present in the top 80 Rifle builds on overframe.gg.
Split Chamber is present on every single build. Serration is present on all but one, a build for Eidolon hunting with Chroma.
9/10 builds are Crit-focused, and Heavy Caliber and Vigilante Armaments are present on 2/3rds of all builds. 1/3rd of builds use Hunter Munitions. 1/8th use Hammer Shot.
Every single build uses at least one 90% or 60/60 Elemental mod, 2.25 of them on average.
Damage, Multishot, and Crit > Elemental > Other
Secondary Builds
Only 25 different mods are present in the top 99 Secondary builds on overframe.gg.
Hornet Strike and Barrel Diffusion are present on every single build, with Lethal Torrent existing on 9/10.
7/10 builds are Crit-focused, with 1/3rd using Magnum Force. 1/5th use Augur Pact.
All but one build uses 90% or 60/60 Elemental mods, 2.8 of them on average.
Damage and Multishot > Crit > Elemental > Other
Shotgun Builds
Only 22 different mods are present in the top 21 Shotgun builds on overframe.gg.
Primed Point Blank and Hell's Chamber are present on every single build. Vigilante Armaments is present on 2/3rds.
Only 1/5th of all builds use Crit mods.
Every single build uses at least one 90% or 60/60 Elemental mod, 3 of them on average.
Damage and Multishot > Elemental > Crit > Other
What all of this means is what we all already know: modding guns in Warframe is boring. You do the same build on every weapon you get every time. This is something that's been plaguing Warframe for a long time, and it's something that really needs to be addressed.
Just speaking plainly, how would /you/ address it or like to see it addressed?
There's a lot more to this case than is being shared here, including a history of:
u/rebulast any chance this could happen?
Yup! Checking!
thanks, ill do that
I would be curious if these tips help - there's a fine line between overcoming / quitting, and all stats of recent days show that this MR test is our most failed (beating MR 19 by a hair).
If you'd be comfortable DMing me a video of your next attempt it'd be good to see how fair / unfair the failure feels, or if you can use more tools to get the edge up?
Paging u/rebulast can we get someone to finally make this only expand on click instesd of hover?
Last I checked in on this the screen is being reworked overall - which will solve this frustration on rollout.
oh cool, that is good to know
Fixed with next update, yup!
u/rebulast will you guys ever talk about this...
Yeah will bring it up again but no promises.
Beautiful!
/u/rebulast - your favorite villainess is here.
LOOK AT HER!!
We never saw it comin'!
They said it won't be a classic quest but there will be a series of events like scarlet spear!
The New War has started, but a Cinematic Quest chain will be featured too in the way we're all used to - albeit after TennoCon. This remains the case as of today (re-asked the team after seeing this thread)!
To source/contextualize this information - we talked about it last Homestream Friday:
"A few months ago we made the decision to commit to the year of 'New War'. It's a bit of a challenge to do this without a studio environment or mocap studio - bear with us. We are figuring out ways to achieve what we were hoping for for this year. It is a challenge. It is a new reality because we have lost our facilities. We are adapting for TennoCon which will feature not what we intended to show - but is super cool and interesting - we are doing something we were already working on, we just rejigged to work with the production realities of us not all being together."
Read moreI found some problems related to the story:
- The game doesn’t tell us to interact with Teshin and Simaris, important characters from the main story, and looks like some players know them from The New Strange and Natah.
- Vox Solaris isn’t a quest for new players (is too hard for them)
- We can go to Maroo's Bazaar even before we start Stolen Dreams, where we are supposed to meet her for the first time. Completing this mission should unlock access to the bazaar.
- The first Disruption mission is on Mars, but Disruption is a mission that occurs after The Sacrifice, not to mention interactions with Little Duck.
- We can do A Man of Few Words if we talk with Darvo after save him in Vor’s Prize, but we have to do this quest on Uranus (which is far away from Earth).
- Complete The Second Dream is a requirement to access Pluto, but Patient Zero starts when we complete Eris Junction.
- Howl of the Kubrow and Hidden Messages should be completed before start the Apostasy Prologue because Lotus has quotes.
- After The Second Dream, nothing is known about the Stalker except that he send his acolytes to hunt Alad V, and they are characters with a big potential for the plot, especially after The Sacrifice.
- The Operator has just a few lines, and some of these quests take place after The Second Dream.
- Mutalist units exists after Mutalist Incursions.
- It's "mandatory" to scan all the Cephalon Fragments to understand Octavia's Anthem.
- Our first encounter with a sentient is in Saya's Vigil (Eidolon Teralyst).
- During Scarlet Spear, why the sentients invade just Earth and not other planets? Not even the Plains.
My idea to tell the story in a chronological and understandable way (Last update, 05/23/2020) would be:
Phase 1 - The Awakening:
- Main quests:
- Vor’s Prize (Earth)
- Once Awake (Mercury)
- The Archwing (Mars)
- Gravidus Dilemma 2.0 (Mars)

- Breeding Grounds 2.0 (Uranus)
- Mutalist Incursions 2.0 (Neptune)

- Howl of the Kubrow (Mercury)
- The Hunt for Alad V 2.0 (Phobos)
- The Limbo Theorem (Europa)
- A Man of Few Words (Uranus)

- Hidden Messages (Sedna)
- Operation: Rathuum 2.0 (Sedna)
