Sarsaparilla or Root Beer?
Silly question aside: Are there any plans to add in any new primary/secondary weapons down the road?
No plans but we could and probably will do it at some point.

I have to know, which is everyone's fave class in GSG?
We love all our children equally.
DRG has been one of my favorite games when I started playing it, and it is still today. If you guys didn't make this, its very unlikely anyone would make a game similar to this. Now to the questions!
1: Has there ever planned to be different types of cave generation, other than complexity 1-3? Examples: Low & wide caves, maze like caves with lots of tunnels, huge caverns or vertical caves? These could affect the hazard bonus.
2: Is there going to be more variety in the secondary objectives? I find it dull how Management wants boolo caps and hollomite again and again.
3: Can we get to see like a mineral refinery or something on the expanded Space Rig where you can watch the minerals you mined pour in and get processed into something?
4: Will the overclocks get re-balanced? Some of them sound fun but are extremely weak (like "Turret Arc" and "Snowball") while others are overpowered (like "Carpet Bomber", "Fat Boy" and "Elephant rounds") Between those my most complex and fun overclocks are probably "Turret EM Discharge" and "Burning Hell". Really enjoyed those, even though they aren't that powerful.
5: What is your favourite weapon overclock?
6: Will there be DRG merch? I would like a M.U.L.E toy or the same cup Dark Morkite is in!
7: Was there something you liked in the game, but it was either removed or never added to the current version?
8: Thank you for reading this far! Rock and stone brother!
Glad you like our game!
We've had many different types of caves over the years but the super high comexity caves are just too much for the normal mission types. Some players of course love that stuff and maybe in the future we can add them in some way.
Yes, definatelly.
It would be cool but I doubt we would prioritise something like that any time soon.
Yes, OCs will get a balance pass.
Special powder fir the Boomstick.
Very likely, yes.
There is a stationary boss enemy prototype that I want to get into the game but there just has not been time to do it properly.
Rock and Stone to the bone!
Have you thought about reworking the unlocking system for customizations. For me I am not a fan of not being able to see things that I can unlock.
For instance if I am player level 25 and I see I need to get to thirty for this dope hat I would be more inclined to grind to get that hat because I know the level. Vs you only see what you have unlocked so far across toons. I would love to see like 5 levels or like 10 out to see the gear I can unlock.
It was a deliberate choice on our end to not show everything at once but you can currently still see some levels ahead though I understand if you wish to see more.
I saw some of the concept art of the game had a dwarf that looked a lot like a 40k squat with a bolter and a power fist (see here https://imgur.com/a/lFz34m4 )
Any 40k fans in the dev team, and was any of your concepts for art / gameplay inspired by 40k, or it's just a lucky coincidence?
I'm not an artist and I'm m not sure who made that sketch, but I definatelly like Warhammer 40k.
Would there ever be a specially designed mission given to a player if they unlock all dwarves for gold 3? Maybe a sweet thank you to those who’ve spent so much on hoxxes?
If you mean a unique mission type, then no, it would be a shame to lock special gameplay behind hundreds of hours. But a unique assignment could be a thing.
You guys! This game is amazing. I've really been looking for a game like this to settle down with, and I'm very glad I stumbled upon this. Röknstön!
My question would be if you plan to add any kind of consumable, single use, or anything really that could continue to deplete our gold/minerals beyond weapon upgrades/cosmetics. The longer we play, the more resources we acquire. Eventually we own most of, if not all of, the available purchases and our resources start to stack up. Even with the release of new things to buy, we can buy them in bulk due to owning a literal fortune of materials.
TL;dr Resources can purchase a finite amount of items and people who have played a lot run out of things to buy.
It's something we've considdered. It's not high priority for us though.
Did you ever expect people to want actual sandwiches as much as they do? Who knew a simple quip of someone forgetting their lunchbox would matter, eh? Will there be food buffs we can eat during the mining, or is Deep Rock not only denying us better equipment, but food as well? :)
Would you consider doing a raffle of some sort, where if people donate some more to Ghost Ship, they have a chance to win the ability to record voicelines for a class, so each dwarf has different voices?
No plans for food buffs.
No raffles planned either.
Possible dual pickaxe wielding berserker class?
Also what is management using the eggs for?
No, no melee class our melee combat is not robust enough to handle a class focused on that.
[REDACTED]
Would you ever consider creating skins and taunts for weapons like the platform gun, and sentry?
Not sure what you mean by taunts but skins for tools could happen, no plans though.
Will we ever be able to deposit into the mini miles?
I guess...
When is the bartender going to be fixed?? it has been dispensing partial rounds of beer and continuing to charge full price I know its a minor issue but the unions have started talking about a strike recently what with beer licenses and new crafting materials.....
Actually, you only pay for one, the rest are free.
This one's for the coding team!
What was the most difficult bug/glitch to fix, and why?
I think the floating island fix was definitely a tricky beast.
Will my dwarf ever get a chance to grab on and ride a dreadnought or bulk detonator?
Unlikely... Especially with the bulk...
Have you guys discussed any Alternative gadgets? Like something besides a zipline, or a sentry turret, or a dome shield, etc?
Oh yes, but these things are also a big part of the class's identity. Sssssss o.O
So in the end we decided that some things need to be relyable and the tools are those.
Rock or stone?
Which weapons, in your opinion, need a buff?
New weapons???? o3o
Can we have glow-in-the-dark beard beer?
[REDACTED]
Most of the alternative weapons, though some much more than others.
Later on maybe.
Yes?
One of the best additions to the game was overclocks. You mentioned that you weren't planning on changing the transversal tools, but what about over clocks for the equipment items (C4, Turrets, Etc...) What about grenade over clocks?
Additionally, assuming the game has success upon launch, what would DLC for a game like this entail? How long into the future do you see yourselves providing support for the game after launch? Thanks and keep up the good work!
No plans for overclocking tools or grenades. But it is of course possible.
Not sure about DLC... We have the supporter version with cosmetics.
I imagine that we'll keep at it as long as enough people keep buying it. But not really my area, I just nerf stuff ;)
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question! My wife and I love the game.
To be honest with you, if you guys charged $5 or so for the character, my wife would most likely buy it.
Thanks for your support but the idea of charging for a female character option feels weird to me. If we do it I'm sure it will be not be as a DLC.
Sorry if the question has been asked multiple times (I haven't found any recent answer): is the game planned on PS4 ?
Good luck to the whole team for the 1.0 release !
No plans and we have a launch exclusivity agreement with MS but later on its certainly a possibility.
1) Any plan on adding some mechanic that makes it easier for the person who goes down to be able to make the area they fell down in safer like for (example: the left 4 dead fall down or the crawling of floor like in newer games). Or even just like a reboot of iron will where its like an armor upgrade.
2) Is the game taking a more harder and difficult approach?
3) Is there any plan on adding some systems that make it so playing versatile like choosing side weapons trying out overclocks you unlock rewarding or something like that like for example (making some assignments that focus on single weapons so that there is more incentive to try different weapons out)
The see you in hell perk does this.
Nope.
Could happen but no plans right now.
