It doesn't consume anything, just stores it - can be retrieved at any time (pet just returns to default look or a different scythe you swap in).
The winning team is just for a bit of fun. It has no bearing whatsoever on anything.
It's a scythe pet - it is primarily intended to showcase scythes!
The base godswords were added only as a bit of a bonus, but also to suggest that it could be expanded to more weapons over time, based on consensus from players. I haven't seen much chatter about future possibilities so far, likely because the pet itself is not yet widespread enough.
It will quite probably get some more options when it returns next Halloween (maybe a handful of top suggestions each year it returns)...though I can't guarantee this, as it will be very much up to whichever team makes next Halloween (and their available resource).

One of the changes with these new holiday hubs has been to create dedicated seasonal tokens (with soft caps), precisely so they can be carried forward from year to year (with longer-term considerations around legacy shops, token emission rates and balancing going beyond a single year, so we don't have to keep reinventing the wheel).

Nothing to do with spaghetti (that term is overused) - the old currency was an object, the new one a variable (so it doesn't waste inventory space; a common, and fair, complaint). Old currencies should have all been zeroed out or converted.
If a need for it is ever added in future, there will be a way added to reclaim it (so feel free to destroy it if it is taking up bank space).

Looking at the transcript here it doesn't look like you agree to bring Zaros back beforehand - it looks like you decide whether or not to help Zaros in this beginning dialogue with Azzanadra. If you don't want to bring back Zaros though, then no quest, hence the only way to proceed is to agree to bring Zaros back.
Or to play along and make up your own mind later, like Sliske's dialogue at the start proposes.
It's the name the archaeologists gave this artefact. I highly doubt that's how the dragonkin referred to it, given how unfriendly they have a tendency to be (at least post-curse).
1. Describe the bug you are experiencing.
Myself (Kayla-Doll) and a number of other players are lagging drastically at the new Digsite. Even on minimum graphics, I personally am experiencing a delay of 5-20 seconds before my cursor will move over my screen, before xp drops will appear or disappear, and text will appear on my chat bar2. List the steps to reproduce the bug.
- Enter the Daemonheim digsite: the lag begins near the Fremennik Banker and encompasses the entire castle.
3. Do you have any additional information that would be useful?
This lag spike appears to only be affecting a select number of players; I've spoken to a number of players who were not experiencing any issues at all. I myself have an Intel Processor, and I know that the team has mentioned how Intel Processors can cause issues when playing RuneScape; if I had to guess, the lagspike has something to do with thatPlease also include your display name (RSN) to help out the team.

I was lagging myself on world 84. Hopped to 83 and it was perfectly fine (and I imagine lag is far less an issue now). I'd chalk it up to the flood of players on launch day more so than the graphical rework (but that may also have been a contributing factor).
Rowley is with us! We had to all add our names to a document (oddly enough most of us don't know each other by mod name!) and I imagine Rowley just forgot to add to it in time since he's busy with his current project.

Currently helping out Mod Kitsune with Daemonheim Archaeology (though this is really Mod Chaose's brainchild), then moving on to Halloween (with a possible slight detour to City of Um tasks).
I think all the joke answers have been made. I'm pretty sure the real answer was due to the Player Owned farm. All those bears were in the area, and instead of just deleting them they just moved their spawn and wander area.
It's because the pen perks extend slightly outside of the POF map squares, and the bears have benefitted from the Like Rabbits perk.
(I think I did this during POF, just moved the spawns over a bit. Seeing this thread pop up from time to takes make me happy; so much better than seeing a bunch of "Who removed all the bears?" threads.)
I would assume when these were originally released, 'Festive Season' meant December/same time period as when Festive aura is active.
It's just that Christmas came a bit early this year. :)

It's meant to represent putrefied flesh, hence why it is black.
What does the quest journal say to do? Did you take enough flesh AND bone runes? Did you bank or destroy any keys?
Be sure to submit a bug if you haven't done so already (those facing the issue) as if there is a bug here it sounds obscure, so we'll need your save data to review. If there's a bug here, it shouldn't take long to resolve.
(But also don't assume that there is a bug, it could be something you have missed, and if it turns out not to be a bug you could be waiting for a really long time...)

Yes, this - it created a reason for players to prioritise unlocking the zombie conjure first over the ghost conjure, which we did not want.
It's literally the only reason they picked a trumpet.
Not the only - had to be an instrument you might find in a jazz quartet, and a sax I think would have felt more out of place in RS - but it was a reason.

Examine is mine, but it's all in good fun, and in keeping with previous "Mod Raven" NPC examines.
