Hi guys - thanks for flagging. We're aware of the reports and are investigating.

EDIT, 18:15 BST:

Hi everyone. We're aware of a number of players receiving password reset emails overnight and are actively investigating the reason behind this at present. If you haven't submitted a password recovery request and have received an reset email from us, we'd ask that you please screenshot the email (subject line and all), and send it to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), so we can use it to help the investigation. We would ask that in sending us your email confirmation, you do not upload screenshots to third-party sites, such as Imgur, for security reasons.

Whilst we're investigating (we don't have a timeframe at present, but we're working hard to make it as quick as possible), we'd like at this stage to assure players that an email and account both secured with two-factor authentication will protect your account the best, no matter what the scenario - you can set this up here.

I have a question about RS mobile app for Android. Not OSRS, but RS3.

I recieved a 2019 Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (SM-T510) as a Christmass present in 2019 specifically so I could play RS3 on it, so I wouldn't have to struggle with the phone. Much to everyones dissapointment, RS3 app was "not compatible with this device". What? The app works on my S7, gf's S8 & S10 and even works on Tab A 10.5.

To add to the confusion,I would like to add that OSRS app works on my 2019 Tab A 10.1.

What is going on with RS3 app and tablets? Why is a fully updated, mainstream android device apparently not compatible?

Hey - I don't know the details on that specific model, but we have blacklisted devices because the crash rates are high or performance isn't great on them. I can understand why it must be frustrating though.

Love this!

I've posted this in the rant thread, but ill post it again here: After being loyal for 15 years you can't speak to anyone or contact anyone. What ever you can contact is just an automated response. You'd expect you could get at least some level of customer support if you're paying for a service. I've been trying to get an answer about RS mobile app for Android since December 2019. Thats 6 months+ of no reply, and I've tried all contact platforms (reddit, discord, email, twitter, forums).

Hi Don - I'll try to help if I can. What's the issue?

Thanks for giving an update! I really appreciate the response you give, given how much negativity that might unleash over you specifically (while we shouldn't shoot the messenger, we cannot deny the messenger often gets shot regardless).

Furthermore, as a lorehound, I really love Archaeology and I'm still very much "stuck in". But I do wonder: are there any quests in development? I'm not talking about "story content" (which I do also appreciate nonetheless), I'm talking about something that will show up in my quest list. I understand that you may not be allowed to say anything about that, so if you cannot or are not allowed to say anything about it: please say so, I will understand!

Once again thanks for the update, you're a great mod and I really appreciate the effort to communicate with the community! Stay safe! :)

Thanks for your message. I can confirm there is a quest in development!

Could you please take a look at the legendary pets code? Its awfully bugged up right now. I made a front page post with detail on how to reproduce this just yesterday. Its a 20$ product that's malfunctioning due to spaghetti. This needs fixing.

The ninjas have been doing greater than ever these past few weeks, btw. I appreciate that!

Hey - just checking: have you submitted a bug report in-game? Our devs will be able to reproduce the bug a lot more easily if they can use your sessions.

(and can you link me to the thread please?)

I can be your friend if you want.

Appreciate the response, and i get times are tough right now, but we are on patch week #10 in a row with no new content in sight. Where exactly is this hard work going towards?

In the context of Archaeology being probably singly the biggest update we've ever released, with a few weeks of post-release content - we've put together some pretty interesting content (Shattered Worlds additions, additional Ninja Strikes (one of which is probably the punchiest one we've ever had), Object Outlining and Canopy Cut-out, iOS beta, etc.) - whilst it's not perhaps traditional 'content', this work is by no means trivial - especially in the challenging environment we find ourselves in. The past couple of weeks have been leaner though, granted. We have some good Ninja Strikes coming up, and whilst we're looking at how COVID has impacted the overall release schedule, we are working at the moment on a new quest as well as Elder God Wars Dungeon (albeit the later is in its early stages).

3 months into the lockdown, your company should had figured out the work from home bit. Even if your weren't prepared in the slightest, if upper management had any inkling that the needs to be done, it should be done by the third month

We were all working from home pretty well from around week 2 of lockdown - it's not just a case of setting up at home though and everything going back to normal (I wish it were!). I'm fortunate in that I don't have kids to home-school, but I've certainly found the continued working from home tough - as I know a lot of people have, not just at Jagex, or even in the games industry, but across the board.

Hi everyone - thought I'd jump on this post, and first up just say that I can understand your frustrations.

I'll try to tackle this as a whole, as well as comment on a couple of the individual points. We are listening, and whilst we've perhaps not been as active on the subreddit in the past couple of weeks as usual, please don't take that to mean that we don't care. We're spending a lot of time behind the scenes working on plans (which we will share when we can). With what's happening around the world right now please bear with us - as whilst we're 3 months into lockdown here in the UK, there is a lot for us to get used to all working remotely across the business (childcare, social isolation, new systems and ways of working, etc.). We can and will do better, but please don't mistake reduced comms for inactivity. I've worked at Jagex for 6 years, and I've never seen the team work as hard as they are currently - and that's across the board from Community Management to Tech, and through...

Do you plan on answering tough questions regarding the mental health of your own players or will you ignore those? I don't want to waste my time if you're going to ignore the tough questions.

This is the second time we've done something like this on the RS Discord (if you search the #mental-health-ama-with-raid channel you can see the kinds of things we've discussed in the past. We haven't shied away from any questions raised in the previous session).

Awesome! Thanks for working with charities :)

If you are all interested, we'll be hosting a mental health and wellbeing Q&A tomorrow (Thurs) on the RS Discord from 18:00 BST with CPSL Mind. If you're around, we'd love to share and discuss the topic with you, or anyone else who would like to join us when they're AFKing!

Any news yet on your worlds being offline for hours and no communication given to players about it?

Here. Apologies for any inconvenience, and we'll update that newspost when we have an update.

Hey guys. Some interesting discussion here - I'll share it with the team when we're back in the office tomorrow.

Hmm there used to be one but I don't see the lists feature on Twitter anymore, u/JagexJD is that list still managed somewhere?

Yep! They're here.

Congratulations!
