Hello all,

Many of you have reported encountering the error message 'The client will be closed? Continue?' when attempting to select a Lineage II Classic server. This error is caused by server interruptions we are currently experiencing. Our team is working on mitigation these interruptions to our servers, but it will affect connectivity in the meantime. 

Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated time when the interruptions will subside as this issue is caused by external factors, but we will post updates as soon as we have time. In the meantime, please bear with us while we work through this. Thank you very much for your patience.

As stated yesterday, we are experiencing server interruptions that is causing connectivity and disconnection issues with the game. Our team is working on mitigating these disruptions, but its affects will be felt unfortunately.

The issues you may see during this time are disconnections and the inability to connect to the server of your choice causing the client to close. The error is not related to an issue with the game but currently caused by the server disruptions.

  • Fixed an issue where the Augment option for STR +1 was being displayed incorrectly as Item Skill: Temporarily increase head size.
  • Added new Missions to the Mission System for the Saviors update.

Also was anything about the rampant bot infestation brought up at this meeting? Any info about that or is NCsoft just gonna keep ignoring it until the server is dead? xigncode is  also worthless compared to hiring a few live GM's to check the game every once in a while. Like I don't get it, how many tickets do you guys deal with about wrongful bans by xigncode, I doubt it's saving the company any money.

I wouldn't say the dev team doesn't care. We don't always see eye to eye on issues. Juji, myself, and the others on the L2 team here in the West are pushing to get the changes we need for our services.

I will agree the changes and updates to the game haven't been as quick as they should be. It's not from the lack of trying, and yes—trying isn't cutting it anymore.

I don't have any more information to share other than we're working on it with the dev team.
