I was going to message you but I thought you might be having a day off on a Sunday, didn’t want to disturb you. I fucked up though, lol, didn’t back up my  profile folder lost all my game settings including FOV and mouse sensitivity, hard to get it back so it feels exactly how it was, having done over 1000 MP multiplayer levels with it and a shit ton of blackout and zombies too

Did you hard delete? If not then it might be in your recycle bin unless you've emptied it or have the empty process automated.

I appreciate you taking that into consideration. The worst that will happen on days where I am actually out having a weekend/holiday/sickday is that I will respond late.

hi foxy, billybadass here, yea i had this same issue beginning yesterday, took several hours waiting for it to resolve itself, verifying files and uninstall/redownload, before finding this post and your solution. i deleted my player profile folder and bam! game working again...

this stressed me out, you don't know how much i love this game, my fav ever, really, i ,love the gameplay and the pace, and i dont care about the specialists at all, unlike everyone else it seems :P genuinely felt lost without it

just a shame it's so dead on PC, and due to be more dead when warzone releases. i pray to god that cod 2020 has blackout, but i hear rumours it won't and it's not surprising since i bet MW WZ will be still freshly in its prime

well i did a total reinstall too but it must have left my player profile folder there bc it also didnt work until i deleted it. anyway , glad you've got it working. fancy a game? i'm with them and we need 2 :P

This is how most uninstalls work for most games. Player profile data is often left intact in the event of a reinstall.

It would be nice if people tried the suggestions I offered so that I could pass on those findings to our team. Glad it worked for you.

I haven't been able to connect all day. I've hard reset my router; opened new ports for the game, assigned a specific IP for my PS4, deleted and reinstalled the game, deleted and reset all my network settings on my console and still haven't been able to get on. Is this their passive aggressive way to push us to play MW? It's getting old. All my friends are able to play, I'm the only one with this BS "A.B.C.D.E.F.G.H.I.J.K.L.M.N.-.O.-.S.-.U Bravo 433Ghost Wolf" error.

I suggest everyone that has the issue to open a ticket on activison so they can notice its server sided. Activision Assist replied on my thread and they were pretty Skeptical the problem is on their end.

I'm not ATVIAssist but I did tag them. I also wasn't "pretty skeptical" about the situation. I took what I know (If one account can connect but others can't from the same machine on the same installation, then the profile in question may have something local preventing it from connecting) and shared a possible solution to attempt. I then didn't hear back from you.

It looks like an issue on our side from sure now. I was aware of Modern Warfare related items but was not aware of any for us. Let me know if you still can't connect.

I have the exact same issue, and I never had it in the past. PC setup and settings are the same I always used. Also tried a different connection, same issue. Also tried repairing and reinstalling. Didn’t fix. Seems like it’s account related?

Have you tried the suggestion I outlined?

Edit: Looks like this was a server related issue with the responses across multiple platforms and per this thread. Let me know if you can't connect still.

If you're able to connect with the same installation but a different profile then it might be something in your players folder limiting access. Consider backing it up to a different location and then deleting it from your install location. YMMV.
