u/fancypmcgee just wanted to send this your way. Looks like a VII and VIII should be added to the kill feed just in case. Phoenix double kill, planting, and spike rush orbs increase the likelihood of 7 kills.

That's quite a sequence 0_o. Candidly this will fall pretty low on a priority list given the rarity of it and likelihood of it happening, but I'll bring it up to the team in case.

can you guys please look at the disappearing HUD bug? i've already posted it more than 10 times on the megathread and it's happening since 0.50

Edited because phone grammar is clearly not good 0_o: We know and we are trying to fix it...our challenge is that we haven't been able to reproduce it, and as a result an attempted fix is a guess that could introduce lots of worse problems for uncertain gain. It's not because we don't want to fix it, we absolutely do. We just aren't sure what the right way is to fix it yet. If by chance you've found a way to reproduce it consistently and have video that would be INCREDIBLY helpful!

Not sure if this helps at all, but I'd also experienced collision issues (bug report with videos) with that floor.

I've had my cypher traps fall through that floor so it might just be a collision issue instead

Oooooh this is a great find will bring back to the team! My guess is that the spawn point of the drone snaps to the closest eligible location, which in this particular spot is through the ceiling there. Thanks for the report! Definitely not working as intended!

Sorry for the very late response, but thank you for the report. We are aware, investigating, and looking to implement a fix asap. We're validating it before we roll it out, and we will 100% make sure all impacted accounts are resolved. Sorry about this :(

I started out feeling the same way after a couple rounds, but after playing Ascent 4 times in a row it is starting to grow on me. Finding all the cheeky places to use Cypher’s abilities has been great. Thanks for the new map!

There's some incredibly talented Artists, Designers, Engineers, SFX, VFX, QA folks, and Producers that all made it happen. I'm just lucky they let me help :)

Hey, where do I report bugs? When swapping weapons and using abilities with Raze, it will occasionally bug out and go to my main weapon for 0 reason. It will also graphically glitch aswell while it happens.

Kinda weird then you're trying to put out a bomb bot, and your main weapon shows up as you press C.

There's a bug megathread here that we comb through. I know the formatting ask is a pain, but it helps us reproduce and track issues much faster, and that's actually super helpful when there are as many players and reports as we get.

We've done our best to make sure that the game is in as high a quality state as we can, but realistically, exhaustive testing is impossible, and even if it were possible, we still only have so many hours to fix bugs and build new features etc.

What you're describing sounds like it could be an issue with packet loss or latency where the server and client disagree about what weapon/ability you have out, but without a video, I can't really know for sure. That said, posting in the linked thread with as much context as possible could help us track it down!

not gonna lie chief, i got excited when I saw people were sharing the same thoughts as me and got sad to see it was a meme, I can't stand ascent, feels horrible, I don't think I've played enough to vocalise why I hate it or what it is exactly but I absolutely despise the map and hate the gimmick of closing the 1 way doors

I'm sorry that you're not enjoying it, but hopefully our other maps give you something fun and compelling, and maybe this one will grow on you over time!

As one of the QA folks on the maps team this post made me panic so much when I clicked on the title 0_o

Edit top post for visibility instead of replying in thread: We do want to have appropriate translations. So while this is definitely not unplayable per se, we want it to be everything ya'll deserve, so our loc team and maps team are talking about how we can do stuff like this better, and we'll take this lesson moving forward :) So thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Generally speaking, a two week cadence is our target, but we're still in beta to exercise all of those muscles and understand what works best, so I can't make a commitment yet. Thanks for helping us figure this out!

Hey Youbekay! This is a known issue, and we'll be resolving it next patch, but due to the impact of the current state of the live game, and impact to future development, we think we can make a better experience by focusing on current bugfixes and feature work for the upcoming patch instead of using those same resources to get a fix out for this specific issue now.

We know it sucks, and we've added additional test coverage to some of our test suites to ensure we catch this particular issue in future builds, but we feel like the risk to stability outweighs the value we'd provide to players. But we'll have it fixed during the next planned patch!

Thank you for posting this! It's super helpful! We've seen (and hopefully fixed) a similar issue where if the spike was planted on the same frame as the attacker team had the last elimination, they would get credit for the elimination win as well as the spike detonation. My guess is it's the same frame perfect issue, but we will definitely investigate!

As I understood it sova arrow always sees through walls? Every time I am in the radius of a sova arrow it says location revealed no matter what. Even if I am behind a wall....

That's incorrect. Sova arrow only reveals if it has line of sight to you at the moment the pulse passes.

While we investigate what went wrong with our dev processes, we'll be keeping this audio SFX for the duration of the patch, and will evaluate how we want it to sound going forward.
