Hi all,

In the last Singularity update, we have quite a few new little things/quality of life changes. If you are interested, we’d love your help testing them and hear any feedback you have

Many, if not all, of those changes listed here were suggested and requested by you guys, in our little things thread and various other channels.

Please feel free to head over to that thread to suggest your own little things idea, but if you have comments on the changes introduced here for the April release, please post them here.

So the changes are the following:

  • Ability to import and export market Quickbar has been added
  • Importing into Multibuy window now retains the order in clipboard
  • Market search has been optimized and changed so it filters as you type
  • The tooltip on contracts has been improved, making it easier to read
  • A tooltip has been added to the arrow in character selection that shows wallet balance changes. This tooltip shows how much the balance has changed.
  • It’s now possible to multif...

Sorry about that. Yes we know it’s a problem and it’s been fixed internally and we hope to deploy the fix soon. We will get it added to this thread :slightly_smiling_face:

Sorry about that, this is another bug, but we’ll try go get that fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, the best way to be able to export is probably to bookmark your current location. Log out, then log back in and warp to your location (do not select the planet or get the right click menu for it)… I think then it should work… hope so at least :grinning:

Sorry about that, It’s a bug and we’ll get it fixed asap!

No, it is not normal, but a bug which we hope to deploy a fix for as soon as possible.

First I hear about that, could you please file a bugreport from within the client (through F12 window) right after it happens. Perhaps there is something useful in your logs that can help us solve the issue :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey, could you please file a bugreport from within the game right after it happens? That would help us a great deal to track down your issue!

Just stating how it works with an example so I’m sure there is no misunderstanding between us

  • I'm a new player, I'm running a mission. I want to warp out to a stargate. I select the gate. and then hit the "Warp" button in the Selected Item window. My ship starts trying to go into warp. It's not going great because there is a LCO in my way, but I don't actually realize this because I'm not bumping into the model itself, but the bounding sphere. I therefore don't go into warp right away, but as time passes, I see the progress bar go up, so (hopefully) I realize I'm progressing towards going into actual warp. The progress bar ticks up, and when it reaches the end, I magically warp where I wanted to go.

So there is no “hitting warp” after the 3 minutes. The 3 minute countdown only starts after you have actually given the comman...

Oops, I’m sorry, I guess I was the one misunderstanding :woman_facepalming: Well there has been misunderstanding in the past where people think that this would somehow put you into warp because you had been hitting the same asteroid for 3 minutes and I misread “being bumped around” as that.
Anyways, yeah, maybe it does not help those miners if the bumpers are persistent, but it’s also for people running missions where there is no one actively griefing them, but they get stuck on something in the site. Hope that make sense

I think there is some misunderstanding here. Just bumping into something for 3 minutes does NOT put you into warp. It’s only if you are actually trying to warp (have given the warp command) and you keep bumping into something and it’s preventing you from aligning and getting the speed up, then after 3 minutes you will enter warp. This should, for example, help new players who get stuck on large collidable objects in missions.

Thanks for the feedback! Having a white warning for that is something we considered doing and might add in the future. We’d probably limit it to low and mid slots, since leaving high slot empty might be a perfectly valid thing to do and could cause confusion among new players if it was flagged as an error.

If you can reproduce this, it would be great to get a bugreport on it so we can get it fixed asap! When filing a bugreport, it’s best that it’s from within the client (through F12 window) right after reproducing the issue.
There are 2 fighter related fitting warning issues that will be fixed shortly, but this is the first I hear about this and knowing examples of some exact modules where this is a pro...

Hehe, yeah, CCP Fozzie has been busy authoring them to be both (‘armor or shield’), and those ships will not trigger this warning

it is actually “or”
The tooltip read:
“Armor or Shields: Equally capable of using either armor or shield defenses”

Did you know if you mouse over the modules in the fitting window, it will show on the CPU bar how much of the CPU they are taking?

Hey all,

Today we have a new feature, Fitting Warnings, on Singularity and we would like to ask for your help testing it!
The idea with this new feature is to help new and old players improve their fitting skills and help them avoid common pitfalls.
The Fitting Warnings feature analyzes the fitting of your ships and warns you when your fit is off in some way and give you hints on how to fix the issues. The combinations of modules and ships in EVE are near endless, so we’d love to get more eyes on it, have you guys test out your fits and tell us how it’s working or not working for you.

There are 4 new icons in the Fitting window, each of them is only displayed if any of the rules in the corresponding category are broken.

  • Crucial (Red):

    • CPU overloaded
    • Powergrid overloaded
    • Cargo overloaded
    • Missing subsystem for T3 Cruisers
  • Warning (Yellow):

    • Invalid modules fitted (for example after rebalance or swapping subsystems)
    • Modules not providing bonus (for example if you have a Magnetic Fie...

@SPAECMARNIES and @Enyap_Xam, this appears to be an issue with the suppressed setting you have saved.
A workaround for this is to go to ESC> Reset Settings and in the first column, reset the option for the skill purchase.

This feature will be release in May, with the list of pointers listed in the original post (it has been updated since I first posted it).
Please test it out and report it if you find any bugs so we can fix them before release

No one can take control over your computer. Let’s say a spy posts a link to the industry window:

  • you see the link in chat
  • it has special color, so you should know it’s a pointer link
  • nothing more happens if you don’t click on the link
  • if you do click on the link, the pointer points to the industry button in the neocom, it does not open the window.
  • if you, an experienced indy player, then decide since some rando was pointing you to the industry window, that you should probably open it in middle of 1% tidi fight… well, then you might die I guess

You can always click on the links yourself, and pretend you are a different character that just got sent that link
