i play yasuo
Zilean. I climb with this old clock boi at the end of every season when my attempts to pop off as a yasuo/irelia/akali zoomer fail. His wave clear mid is insane, damage is insane, your team almost never flames you because you always bring utility (if your ults are bad you might), and nothing keeps your heart rate down like knowing you have a get-out-of-death-free ult. I find I can chat more on stream when I play Zilean, I can listen to whatever music I want when I play Zilean, and I can generally play with my mind alt-tabbed and still win when I play Zilean.

That Nexus Blitz stat is a massive oof. Certainly shows that Reddit is the minority
to be fair to reddit, the region that was most engaged in Nexus Blitz was NA (reddit being english speaking and primarily NA with a splash of EUW).
that likely influenced the perception that it was more widely played. Also I’d hypothesize that the audience types that we saw engaging in NB were even closer to the more active reddit users in NA.
