We have a fail-safe built in for this that awards everyone their Vault Pass rewards at the end of the league even if they didn't physically claim them. However, that's not an ideal solution if you're wanting to use your microtransactions right away. We'll look into a better solution for this particular instance but there's no way that we'll leave those who purchased the pass without their earned microtransactions.

As much as I enjoy your mischief, Chris' "Scarabs?" "Yeah" exchange during Betrayal preview season is probably my favorite GGG mischief post.
Lol, I enjoyed that very much too. I had to leave suddenly during the build up to Betrayal and was gone for a week. Before I left I was like, "Chris - all I need you to do is make sure you torture the players and keep them hyped". And he was like "Okay!". I was mildly skeptical just due to Chris' time constraints but when I got back, he was like "Bex! Come look what I did!" and showed me that post. I was both very proud and very amused.

We initially planned to integrate Ultimatum into the core game in the obvious way that we have done for prior leagues, and indicated that it was coming soon. Since then, though, we had an even better idea for a way to integrate it and are likely going ahead with that plan instead. The bad news is that this isn't for a while, but will be worth the wait!
