To our disappointment, we're having to push back the release of the Season 2 Beta until tomorrow morning. After an in-office power outage paired with a very slow Steam uploader, we've chosen to delay. The new time we're looking at is 11am CET, tomorrow (Tuesday the 17th of December). We'll be sure to let you know once we're live. Apologies for the disappointment.

Yeah, I closed your post because you made it political, and it's a necro. I'm locking this too. Your reports are already in our internal database; issues are addressed in order of priority. This discussion doesn't need to continue. Read more

That doesn't make any sense. FS, like any other developer, uses the forum platform provided by Steam and therefore has to abide by the guidelines they're given. It also means that you can be reported straight to Steam and also banned directly by Steam.
And it sets a precedent where criticism can be censored by Steam admins like in my case, and the devs/publisher the criticism was directed at just shrugging it off claiming it wasn't their responsibility.Who do you hold responsible for the censorship then? The company will blame Steam admins and Steam admins will claim no incentive to censor criticism, while doing it anyway.
But you weren't banned for criticism of our product, you were banned for calling somebody's post dumb. There's no censorship of criticism involved. Steam's reasoning for the ban:
When using the “Steam Discussions”, please ensure your post is relevant, constructive and polite – act with dec...Read more

Can't help but notice the convenience letting 3rd party admins handle your forums with their own rules creates for the question of responsibility for actions taken.
I mean, that's simply what Steam do. It's not something we have any control over. Read more

This has definitely happened to players before but it's my understanding that we've never been able to replicate it ourselves! Are you able to 'Verify the Integrity of Game Files'?:1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select 'Properties'
3. Select the 'Local Files' tab
4. Select the 'Verify the Integrity of Game Files' button. This may take several minutes
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Sorry for your post being locked Evilnapkin - it seems it was done by Steam moderators.

For clarification; whilst we originally developed War of the Vikings, it was published by Paradox Interactive who later claimed development rights near the end of the project and subsequently chose to close it down. Paradox Interactive have had no involvement in the development or publishing of Vermintide 2.
If you're experiencing crashes in Vermintide 2 after the Winds of Magic patch, please disable your mods to see if the crashes persist.Once the defective mod has been identified, please contact the mod author via the mod's Steam Workshop page as any mod-related issues are handled by the mod author, as opposed to Fatshark. If your crashes persist with mods disabled, please reach out to us in the 'Bug Reports' discussion with a copy of the crash report produced: https://steamcommunity.com/app/552500/discussions/8/

I'm aware there's been some disturbances as of lately - mainly connection-related, but I'm having a hard time identifying patterns. We haven't made any changes on our end and our backend is running smoothly with no reports of downtime. Due to this I initially suspected it could be isolated to specific ISPs, but there's not enough consistency to prove that. Steam has been somewhat wobbly, so that's my prime suspect right now. The investigation continues. If the people experiencing these issues could share their country and name of their ISP, that would be helpful.

Progress made in the Beta will not be carried over to the live release.
Glad Midsommar!
Phase 1 of invites is now complete, but there may potentially be a Phase 2 at a later date. This is uncertain however.
