Anything running in the background? 100% CPU usage is not inherently a bad thing when gaming, but can sometimes indicate a bottleneck
Due to unforeseen issues with game persistence, we have entered a period of emergency maintenance. We will update here when we have further news. Apologies for the inconvenience.

DX12 is still a work in progress, but your feedback if you run it is valuable.
We agree with a lot of the sentiment in the comments here. The game isn't competitive but cooperative, and even the green circles in-game right now breed toxicity and are something we'll be switching up in the future. A battlelog style system will not be something we exolore.

Unusual. Pop a ticket over at fatsharkgames.com/support - we'll check it out :)
Hey Greg from Nvidia. I'd first suggest a clean uninstallation of your (I assume) Nvidia drivers and experience and try a complete reinstall of those.
Originally posted by Malacar: As far as I understand, this is not a bug, but a design decision. Most charged attacks can't be cancelled into block, but with some weapons this is also true for light attacks. These are mostly massive weapons (glaive, two-handed hammer, two-handed axe). I think this is meant to reinforce the feeling that the weapon is big and powerful but unwieldy.Spot on as usual Malacar.
Try reinstalling Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Originally posted by zero.to.nine:It's a bit necessary. Say you're in a match, but the back end goes down. Would you prefer we told you whilst you were playing and give you a chance to tap out early and go make a coffee, or right until you get to the end and get booted out because the service went offline during your match? (I appreciate this can happen all the same due to unforseen errors, but if and when we know in time, which would you prefer?) Read moreOriginally posted by Capra Aegagrus Hircus:
They use it to warn you for upcoming patches that might disconnect you from the game etc
I understood that much, but it's still annoying and not necessary.
Originally posted by zero.to.nine: You don't need to advertise things during gameplay/lobby, it's VERY intrusive and annoying and will probably result in people hating the whole game. We PAYED for the GAME, not commercial messages! We haven't provided you with commercial messaging, as noted in another thread (and touched on above), the "breaking news" tool we use to convey downtime, patches, or interruptions which might cause adverse problems to the game has simply malfunctioned and returns some HTML which includes a domain URL where the breaking news text is typically stored. :) We'll have this solved soon once all the name servers are updated appropriately with the correct information.
