Since this thread is somewhat out of date, it has been locked for historical reasons. We have talked a lot on the Dev Streams about the changes coming to Melee, and if you have been following them, you’ll know that we have a lot planned, and some changes have already been made.
There is much more coming later as we continue into 2019, with more information coming to you as we make advancements. Stay tuned, Tenno!
To clarify on some points made here:
As part of this change moving forward, we have asked that all current and new Chat Mods adhere to Alias naming conventions that do not have controversial natures. Although we understood the satirical nature of some Alias’, we are changing the policy to make it clear, and our Chat Mods are on board in making sure that they are not mistaken for actual toxicity.
To clarify further, we understand our fault in this by allowing some leeway on Alias’ because we knew they were satirical in nature, however, that does not translate well into the Community. If we were part of another Community, we would agree that some satirical Alias’ would be inappropriate. As of the new agreement, we will be making sure that regardless of intent, we will be consistent with this change.
We are aware of this pretty big Fashion frame bug and we are working on a fix. Have no fear, we are looking into getting this rectified ASAP.
This post is a brief overview of changes that have come in the Volunteer Chat Moderation program and associated in-game systems.
To recap, systematic changes to Chat Moderation in Warframe went live on December 5th:
- Moderation messages are now sent through system messages rather than private messages so that they are not overlooked.
- Improved logging of Chat Moderator action.
- Increased staffing for Chat Moderator management.

We are aware of crashes occurring with certain languages in Cetus. We are working on this, and this will be corrected in the next Hotfix!
Those are not part of the current changes added to my knowledge. I will pass it up the chain as a suggestion though!
