Yes it was removed. People kept accidentally breaking down expensive items and then contacting our support team to undo it so we made it harder to mess things up.

Over the last six months the Linux version has become more popular with the cheating community. Next patch we plan to ship the Windows and MacOS builds compiled with IL2CPP to improve performance and security. Unity doesn't currently support making an IL2CPP build for Linux - which we assume will increase the attractiveness for cheaters.

How do you know if people are cheating or not? We're always working on it but we don't post much information details about it publicly because we don't want cheaters to benefit from that information.
It's new - it's in the latest dev blog: https://rust.facepunch.com/news/eye-in-the-sky#CCTVinRustAlpha

There is a limit of 50 players subscribed to a single smart alarm.
You probably also have too little RAM in your computer.
If you're getting an out of memory error then that means you have restricted your pagefile/virtual memory size too much. Go into Windows virtual memory settings and change it back to automatically managed.
Teams with more than 8 players will not show extra players on the UI but will work otherwise.
It's an issue with a plugin the server you're playing on is using. The plugin would need to get patched by its developer and updated on your server.
Exclusive was removed. Fullscreen is always borderless now by default.

So facepunch and steam should work together to make accounts safe. None of us legit players would mind having to jump through some more hoops to play a cheat free game. Steam and facepunch make it easy to get a new account. Why do they do that? It's pretty obvious it's about the money. Profits would drop if accounts had to be verified, for a few reasons.

Play on smaller maps with less players. But really look into getting more RAM and an SSD. If you only get an SSD then you should configure your Windows to use the SSD for virtual memory, or install Windows onto your SSD (recommended).
If we ever do this I wonder how many posts I'll see here about how character customization is ruining the game
