Hey! Can you describe some of the actions your taking before the crash? I haven't been able to reproduce this. Some questions that may help us track this one down:

Where did the gold weapon drop from? Did you have the lower rarity of the weapon already equipped when you picked it up? Is the crash instant or does it take a few seconds? Can you complete any actions like jump or movement ability before it crashes?

We'll continue to look into this to see if we can track down the cause and get a fix.

Hi mate, thanks for getting back to me about this issue, I will try to explain the bug as best as I can.

Ok so basically, the glitch doesn’t happen 100% of the time, I’ve maybe had it happen to me a dozen times so far, but I’ll try to explain it in full.

If you kill an enemy player and pick up their gold weapon after switching from your primary weapon, it has a chance to crash your game,

It doesn’t matter if you have a lower rarity already in your inventory because it’s still crashed when I haven’t had the same weapon of a different rarity and when I have.

I’m not sure if it crashes on other platforms than PS4 because I mainly play on PS4 and haven’t checked any other platforms

You do not have enough time to do any other inputs, the crash happens on the exact frame the gold weapon from the dead enemy enters your inventory.

Quick side note.

If you and the team want, one day I can do a sort of “QA” stream where I outline all the bugs I know in the current update and replicate them. I have currently put over 150 hours into OB20 so I feel that I know quite a few bugs that are in the game currently
