Ready or Not Dev Tracker

@djmilhouz Nothing changes unless we announce it to be. It all remains on track.

@LtVic Hopefully we'll no longer need to remain in quarantine by the time the game is released!
@Andy__Bang Thank you for pre-ordering, Andy! The use of lethal force against suspects who do not pose a direct and imminent threat will impose a score penalty to the player. Less-than-lethal equipment should be used here. If the suspect raises their weapon, however, the situation changes.
@ajcoles6545 You'll simply have to pay the difference. :)

@agwallace You should probably start saving for that new computer.
@GuinevereWrites @hallisen We're always looking out for new talents! Feel free to email us at [email protected].
@duckytnt https://twitter.com/VOIDInteractive/status/1235285855952154624 The Beta will be on PC only.
@LacroixFrdric3 The bullets will remain in their magazine, as they should!
@hallisen Players will go through a pre-planning phase prior to each mission, where they can overview loadouts, blueprints, assets, the reported amount of individuals on scene, an event timeline, 911 calls, and more.
@James95033831 Stunned players can be arrested. A player can stun others by using less-lethal methods such as flashbangs, stingers, gas, tasers, and many more. Players can also choose to wear equipment such as goggles or gas masks to be more resistant to certain less-lethal gear.
@GlobsterR6 Custom gamemodes will be a thing!
@AuberZient If our initial release on PC goes well, we are very keen on the idea of bringing Ready Or Not to the console audience 🎮
@Akirahhhh_ Affirmative. Although it depends on the gamemode, an arrest will always yield more points to the player than a kill.
RT @TactlessHog: @VOIDInteractive tried making your title into a comic cover, don't know why, never read a super hero comic but here ya go…
Not only will it be possible but ideal. The player will have to follow certain rules of engagement in each mission in order to succeed and advance to the next one. The main premise is to preserve lives and bring order to chaos. Lethal force is always the last resort. https://twitter.com/LacroixFrdric3/status/1235228576301146112
@Pointygrows Fair enough!

No I agree with all of that but there's no wiggle room at all, nobody straight up lowers their weapon because their barrel is about to brush a wall, especially if you're in a combat situation. The way it's done in Insurgency Sandstorm is perfect imo, you can pull back your weapon a little bit before you fully disengage, and it's still determinate on weapon length.

Our weapon does have a gradual push-back, but it's entirely dependent on the weapon and its attachments.
