The sledding activity is staying in-game as something fun to do on the side, what we reverted with this game update was some blocking on a tile near Doric's house as well as some objects on the ground like the boulders from the event in and outside of the village.

I did think it was odd when the shortcut was still there after last week's update. Thanks for the clarification.
