So I just got the chance to update and play. I start a new settlement, get building, and make VERY sure that my warrior has 'Fight Melee' on... only for a lizard dude to come in, and wipe my whole settlement because I couldn't order my warrior to kill it. I mean, dwarf fortress taught me that losing's fun, but this is ridiculous! :-p
Well, combat has always been terrible. I'm working on improving it for the next update. Hoping to improve it a lot. Sorry for issue!
