Perk of being in LA is definitely proximity to this kind of talent. It's a shame we only get a handful of these super well-polished videos a year.
There will be more! Vaccine rollout is picking up speed in California, which will unlock our ability to do a lot more LCS content as we get closer to summer!
This will probably go mostly unappreciated overall, but credit to Riot for expending the energy and resources to find the LA Coliseum as a live venue. As someone living in LA County and attuned to the availability of live venues, I'm 90% sure that they found the needle in the haystack securing the place for this weekend.
Having to compete amongst MANY parties pushing the envelope to get activity going now that we're this close to the metaphorical light at the end of the tunnel is impressive, especially considering we're also close to seasonal events like school commencement ceremonies. USC has been and will be making great use of the Coliseum because the fixed seating there allows them to be one of the few venues in the county that is eligible for re-opening.
The venue is actually The Greek Theater in Griffith Park!
