The truth will be discovered soon: Fortnite v17.10 is scheduled to release on June 22. In preparation for the update, services will be disabled starting at approx. 03:30 AM ET (07:30 UTC).
As a reminder, Arena Hype Points will be reset with the release of v17.10, marking the end of the competitive pre-season.

Hey u/TheFortniteTeam, can we please get actual confirmation on whether or not there is a live event tomorrow at 9 AM EST, or is this simply the beginning time for the 2 week long event.
Hi, u/King_D3D3D3. The Welcome Party is not a live event, so don't worry if you won't be able to play at 9 AM ET. The party will last for two weeks!
