The Maintenance update SHOULD have resolved Bow issues for PC only at this current time. We're working on getting another update rolled out to address this issue for Console.

Please let me know if bows are still broken on PC after this morning's update. There was a chance players were still on an old update, but it should have been fully rolled out at this point.

As it was already posted by another user, melees are broken once again on PC. Some hits are not registering on many melees, most of the time it's 3 out 4 not registering. I just wanted to provide more info and showcase how actually ridiculous it is compared to a working melee. In the clip we were both using the same loadout and same weapon, fire Sir hootie that deals 108.5 dmg to the cars. Both cars had the same amount of health and we started breaking them at the same time (actually I started 1 second later) but I finished 12 seconds later than my friend. I first noticed it on husks earlier today, but decided to record a clip of hitting cars instead of husks because it's much easier. Here is also a clip of me solo vs smasher, it's painful to watch how I'm hitting blanks: https://streamable.com/1gpuab My friend helped me do an investigation and this only occurs on PC, not on PS nor on Xbox (few months ago PC and Xbox were affected by different melee bug, PS was not => https://www.reddit.com/r/FORTnITE/comments/ml0a29/long_delay_between_3rd_and_4th_swing_on_melee/ ).

With bows and many other ranged weapons being broken, now melees on PC too? Not to mention other ridiculous things like 0 0 0 evacs, broken Ice King, ridiculous CC changes and many, many other things. This is a huge huge shame and I think that STW players at least deserve a f*****g sorry in an ugly yellow pop-up in game. So many issues but hey, Epic is still selling one of the most important and loved characters as starter pack with more of such BS coming.

FFS, dear u/Magyst, I saw this got your attention and I appreciate your effort, but please take this "issue" off dev's backs as there are obviously more important ones to sort out. I have nothing against the author u/Glory_To_Atom and the other person he was discussing with, but they made several mistakes. Rockin' riff 50% dmg boost (from all sources - wafers, battle beat, fumble etc) is working properly on all kinds of weapons and abilites, it's just not showing the boosted amount of dmg on a equipped weapon in inventory (I wouldn't even call that an issue because many other things in this game don't do that either, but they are working). But if you actually shoot or swing a weapon or use an ability, you can clearly see that you're getting 50% extra dmg. And it's been like that for year and a half, there were slight issues in the beginning when rad heroes first came out, but ever since then it's working properly, both team perk and individual hero perks.

Definitely appreciate you taking the time and write up some feedback. Regarding what you've mentioned here.. The QA team will run test to actually verify what the actual issue is. Having found that this is only a visual issue, which is still a bug, but will be generally a lower priority for a fix. It's still an issue that needs to be addressed, but the team will definitely prioritize higher impacting issues over a visual issue such as this.

We're posting to let you know that we've just released a maintenance patch on PC. This patch addresses the issue negatively impacting Bows and the issue preventing a pop-up notification when receiving a request to join a private party.

We'll keep everyone updated on FortniteStatus when the fixes for these issues come to PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

Yep, we're aware of that also. Been diving into this issue. Thank you!

PC players can try to swap to DX11 which might help out in the short term. We're gonna dive more into this and figure out what's causing this type of slow down.

Yeah, for sure. Bugs having has much context when reported is great. Definitely makes things easier if we can determine if it's isolated to one game mode or spread.

This a super huge one, game is not identifying how far you push it and just returning to the standard value
