Gather up folks , it's Story time !!
Like many of you , I've participated in Moment of Triumph event. And I imagine like many of you, I've ordered my t-shirt , Wich I happen to wear proudly , even at work! I'm a forklift driver in a warehouse , nothing fancy. My boss happen to be a gamer , I explained him that to get the t-shirt , you need to play , unlock triumph to get the promo code. He know it's "uncommon" as you can't simply buy it in a Walmart.
The company where I'm working happen to hire a lot of people with disability. Autism , ADHD , Only one arm , Only one eye ( no mask ) and a lotsss of deaf people. obviously nothing wrong with that , more like the opposite , kinda give hope in humanity!!
Yesterday my boss come at me and tell me that there is an employee in the Production Department with the same t-shirt as me !!
IMPOSSIBLE that I've answered !! And I genuinely thought he was mistaken , come on !! Another Moment of Triumph t-shirt , at the same time ? This isn't some Walmart t-shirt !!! That's it , im parking my lift , I need to confirm !!
As I walk by the employee , I acknowledge that my boss was right , this is a MoT t-shirt !!! I honestly am Blown Away !! But hey ... Hold on , I don't know this employees ,
I'll introduce myself !! I come at him and say Hi ! People around us let me know that he's deaf ! I then wave my hand ! They then let me know he has bad eyesight ! I get closer and try to show him my t-shirt !! When he understands what I'm trying to do and take a closer look he realized we both had the same t-shirt on !!! He's all smile and look really excited about it , saddly we can't really communicate at the moment , so I mainly wave and smile too , I was really hyped to met another Guardian!!
Next morning when I come in , a colleague of mine hand me a piece of paper. The Guardian I've met the day before ( his name is : Dany ) writed down his info for me ! So we can communicate ! I really am surprised but also very pleased ! Communication is key , either in life or even Destiny !
I'm also very impressed , he seems to have a bad eyesight wich can only be a challenge , in my opinion. Still he has the Moment of Triumph t-shirt ?? He gave me his GT... How about we check his KD ? You guys know curiosity ... I'm not saying I was prejudice , it's definitely not my style , especially considering I work daily with people who have disability ... But Yeah , I was sceptical ! I'll admit it but mostly curious !!! So here goes nothing !

Guardian , I think it's time we take a minute to realize how lucky some of us are and how brave other are !!
I've added him as a friend and I can't wait to play with him and I hope he'll teach me the way to Destiny cuz I hella think I can learn from him !
