Will the two pc versions and Xbone ever be crossplay? I bought the steam one when it first launched got founders and all but my friends have mostly moved to xbox and still play this. I dont mind paying again but will kind of suck to have all that progress restarted. Is there a workaround or anything?
The Windows Store version has crossplay.

It's less stable than the Steam version, due to the UWP framework. We're working on fixing that, but until we do, it's a less smooth ride.
Will steam ever have crossplay
It might. There are some challenges involved in doing that. It would most likely limit the cave generation since it takes a lot of memory.
