1: It’s a mix of old and new. 2: There are no mission types currently. The tasks will be whatever the mission generator puts in the caves. 3: We’re bringing over some weapons and some biomes, and it’s based on the same framework as DRG, so some things will feel familiar, like the act of mining stuff with an pickaxe, and we’ll have the occasional lootbug hanging around. There’s no nitra, you’re no longer playing hard working miners hard at work, and the only thing you’re bringing with you on a mission is your phase suit with an ability and your perks. Guns and equipment are randomized and found on a run.

New game with DRG DNA. Originally meant to be an expansion, but it turned into something that wouldn’t fit within the constraints of the original game.
He’s invited too, Arsenette.
It's definitely not intended to be a sequel, but it's more of a standalone experience with a lot of shared DNA.
It rotates, so you take turns getting 1st pick, 2nd pick, and so on. It might work, it might not - we'll let the feedback show.
I’m going to need something in better condition than that.

Hard disagree, i have played hundreds of on-site refining, and building the pipes are the best part!
We have no plans for Steam Workshop in Deep Rock Galactic, and no plans for running more than one modding platform.
Can’t speak for Mike, but I do think we’re generally happy with where stuff is currently. Mike usually likes nerfing stuff, so if he hasn’t done so already he probably considers it fine.
alright, calm down with the knowledge, nerd

The eggs are back. There are dozens of them. Hundreds, even.At a time when the world is more focused on eggs than ever before, we thought it would be apt to bring back the ultimate in egg-centric celebrations: The Great Egg Hunt.
That’s right, eggheads. The Great Egg Hunt is coming back to Deep Rock Galactic on Thursday, April 10th, and it’s bringing a veritable eggload of goodies and professional development opportunities along with it.It’s time to count our eggs before they hatch. Here’s a preview of what’s coming – and if you’re interested, there’s some Rogue Core news down at the bottom.
A new hat for your health and pleasure
You can’t spell The Great Egg Hunt without “hats!” Well you can, but it wouldn’t make a very good segue to talk about hats. Speaking of hats, we’ve got a new one for you. The college kids down in R&D have spent the past year pushing the envelope of noggin-covering technology, and their proud result is the Winged Buckaroo.Want it? You’ll have to w... Read more
Ban lifted.
Yeah, it’s also why the quality and speed of the host connection is important (in our case). AFAIK, the Helldivers 2 host migration is more viable (or used to be) to fail if the game is hosted on PS5, plus the migration can still fail and boot everyone - which isn’t really the fault of Arrowhead, but more to say that there’s a ton of factors playing into it all. There’s also all the gameplay details with the lobby being the ship of the host, etc., and the game host not being the same as the network host (which can change while on a mission).
The only servers we technically run are cloud backup of saves on Steam and Xbox, some info for the terminals we can change on our end (events, news about merch etc), and the server list itself. If the last on goes down you would not be able to see other games, but would still be able to connect directly to others.
