I’ve browsed this sub and looked around beforehand but I have a question about the loot bugs...

Is there a karma system for killing loot bugs?

The reason I’m asking is that after playing 100 hours since launch, my friend is convinced that we see less machine events after one of the party kill loot bugs.

He now leaves dwarves behind if they kill loot bugs. He’s created superstition within the group that is half verging on a cult like mentality.

*Edit - used the wrong word in one place. Also, we only play as a group so it’s not like he’s winding up random players on public servers.

Management requests that any and all affection for the so-called "Loot Bugs" be stopped immediately, and points out that the wildlife of Hoxxes is never your friend. DRG is here to turn a profit, not to make pets.

Since the so-called "Machine Events" are relics of past mining operations and not magical play-time fun-lands, there is no reasonable connection at all between eradicating hostile fauna and encountering a site of this kind.

Management suggests this particular employee get back to work instead of wasting company time on baseless superstitions, or this particular employee's weekly alcohol allowance will be slashed.
