(2019) Funcom know about duping/undermeshing and do nothing.

This thread was added on July 16, 2019, with posts from funcom_kyena.

Original Post

It is stupidly easy to dupe at the moment, and to undermesh.

I and many others, have sent stupid amounts of reports detailing exactly what when how to do all the exploits, through exploit hunter, through forum posts, through private messages. No action, no reply.

/u/funcom_hugo, /u/funcom_ignsis, /u/funcom_kyena, /u/funcom_jev, what the fuck is going on? Have you completely abandoned official servers and game breaking exploits and bugs?

My entire "OFFICIAL" server is filled with undermesh bases, dozens of duped gods used daily and duped loot stashed everywhere.

Do I actually have to spam around the methods to these exploits and bugs for every server to be ruined, will you then fix your game???

No, we haven't abandoned anything and contrary to popular believes spamming the same posts over and over won't enable us to fix something faster and is also against our rules. Just because we know an issue exists doesn't mean we immediately know what causes it or what underlying code allows for something we wouldn't want to be possible.
It's not like we don't want to fix these but they are also not as easy to address as you might think they are. We ARE aware and we are working on those. However, again, spamming it over and over won't help getting this fixed faster. I understand you are angry and frustrated about this issue.

Maybe if you share the exploits with us here we can all spam them about it ya know

Yeah..no.

I think we're all agreed on our opinion of these issues. I don't really know why these bugs remain in the game for as long as they do. Servers have been trashed by exploiters duping gods and bombs and everything else as it is. You'd think it would be a top priority fix, but some of this stuff has been known for ages, especially the duping.

It is a priority but even though the issues seem to be the same, the underlying problem is not. Players find new ways to exploit and we keep fixing and improving those issues. It's an ongoing battle between us and players finding new ways to exploit the game.
