Official servers' guidelines

Introduction

Conan Exiles has thousands of official servers across several platforms and regions. These come with certain rules and strict enforcement.

By playing on an official server you are expected to follow the guidelines below. Support will do their best to honor these guidelines.

Please read through and consider the spirit of the guidelines, not the specific wording.

We reserve the right to modify these rules. We will notify players in advance of any changes.

Official Server Building Restrictions

Please remember that other players share the server with you. Do not restrict access to unique or high-value in-game content.

Specific cases that represent unique, high-value content or behavior that prevents other players’ gameplay:

  • Blocking of content in the game, such as dungeons, obelisks, lore stones, recipes, resources, unique NPCs, and other areas of the game.

  • There was a typo in the timestamp of one of the updates. This that has been fixed now. We apologize for the mistake. The rest of the message was the same across all information outlets and its information is correct.
  • We’ve been working all weekend to get this issue resolved but we haven’t received an ETA from the publisher on when the issues that are preventing the release of the update will be fixed.
  • Our partners in the Japanese region managed to get through certification and released the update on that region. This is why those servers show activity now and why there is a region mismatch when trying to connect to them. The update for EU/US regions has been on hold sin...

We regret to inform we currently don’t expect a resolution for the PS4 connectivity issues until tomorrow. Sony has not been able to give us an ETA on when they’ll fix the issues preventing the update release.
We once again apologize for the frustration this outage has caused.

We are still trying to resolve the PS4 connectivity issues together with Sony. We’re doing all that’s in our hands to get this situation fixed ASAP.
We have disabled decay on PS4 official servers and we apologize for the frustration this downtime is causing.

Greetings once again, Exiles of the Testlive lands!

Here comes the second revision of our next update, this time focusing on a few AI and general issues. We’ve also bundled in some crash and exploit fixes while we continue our work on readying this patch for prime time.

As always, we welcome any feedback you might have once you’ve given this revision a try.

Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

  • We’re aware of some connectivity issues happening while playing on the Testlive separate client. Current workaround is to play this revision using the beta branch of the game instead. More instructions about that down below.

We’ve received word that the patch to PS4 has passed testing. We’re waiting for confirmation from Sony before we can release the new client. Once it’s out we will update you all immediately.
