Damn double experience for two weekends in a row? Hell yeah!

It was originally going to be a Vehicle weekend but with community feedback + the issues last weekend we changed it.

Love the variety of opportunities for leveling up this month. Any idea when we might see another heroes unleashed event now that Anakin is out?

Once he’s balanced and we’ve resolved a minor backend issue, absolutely. HU was actually pulled from this month for those reasons.

Will you guys ever keep fast spawn for a while? I love that event and wish it could be part of the game permanently.

Hard to say. It really throws off balancing in GA. TBD how it’ll affect CS.

Any chance Jetpack Cargo makes an appearance again?

At this time, no. It requires a client update and isn’t a regular event. Maybe in the future!

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have ONE normal weekend without any gimmicks?

When we made a call for feedback about what events people would like to see happen within April, the requests were quite varied and a "normal weekend" was amongst them.

We hear that sort of feedback, we were looking at options for the Star Wars Celebration Weekend (12th/14th) but decided it is best to have it as an open weekend with just double XP. I don't see that as a gimmick, but rather an incentive for those that are just jumping into the game - and well, it's fairly normal for those that have been playing for some time too.

I'd say this calendar overall is possibly the least chaotic it has been, and last month we had a lot of XP events too.

How so in your opinion, can I ask? There was a time where fast spawn was enabled for a whole weekend and I can't say that I noticed anything particularly different in the balance of GA.

Matches end a lot faster since people and spawning (and thus dying) quicker and that means the side with kill tickets is disadvantaged.

Oh right, that makes sense. In that case, might a timer of around 5 seconds be considered? Probably just me being impatient, but I feel like a 10 second timer can be too long at times.

As in, in general a five second timer? Not sure, but I can raise it with the team. After SPS, you should see how interested other players are with that by making a thread.
