No specific date to share at the moment, but the plan is for the end of the month assuming smooth sailing.

We are planning to make some changes for this coming mega patch, so the fires of mount doom may not be as necessary

As long as it's not your home server, you should get them - we made this change so it couldn't be gamed, particularly when we allowed all grids to be spawned on.

Can confirm the crew will take gold from resource boxes outside of boats too. We've had some suggestions such as allowing gold to be siphoned from claim flags to pay crew, something we're still on the fence about at the moment.

Could I get the coordinates to the island you're on?

If you find a treasure bottle on your current grid that gives you a map for that same grid, it'll always be low quality as you won't have to travel far (albeit always finding 0.5 is a bit sus), maps for other grids will of course be higher quality as you'll need to travel further to get them.
