That's really odd it didn't recharge on you. Hopefully it was a very rare bug and you won't come across it again, we'll be on the lookout for more reports.

Try right-clicking on the game in Origin and select repair. Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Are you installing it to an external hard drive and do you have anything plugged into the USB slots?
