Have a question about the NA Branch of the CC Program?

Ask it here!

Forum Streamline Icon: https://streamlinehq.com

Heyo.

However you make your content is up to you and what you believe would be best for your audience.

We have recently decided upon some hard minimum requirements for acceptance into the program of:

YouTube - Monthly average of 300 or more views per video/stream on YT and 1200 total monthly views for the last 90 days.

or,

Twitch - Have an average of 30+ viewers per WoWs stream on Twitch & minimum of 2 streams a month for the last 90 days.

If your content is of another media, it will be assessed separately.

It should be noted, that meeting these hard minimums does not guarantee your acceptance into the program, your content will still be assessed by the CC regional manager.

There are bonus's and negatives for different style of content. Short videos can be more appealing for the masses as they are quick to watch; for example, I'm more likely to watch a 2 minute video over a 30 minute video from a creator I don't know - thus have the ability to wrack up views quickly.

Ultimately, the quality and promotion of the content produced by an applicant is what will contribute to the views regardless of the length of the media.

Streams, I grant you, would be harder to pull 30 average views on say a 1 hour stream, but streams typically are a longer format media, and creators should be aware of that going into them.

We're set the minimums at what we believe is a fair level, that ensure they are achievable however also disqualify those who have not the start of an audience supporting them.

Currently in NA we have rounds of applications to ensure people have time to grow between applications. Please also remember, while you may meet the minimum requirements, you still will be assessed by the Regional Manager as per the contents and quality of your content as numbers are not everything.

I would've privately addressed you on this matter, and given you tips and things we'd like to see for your next application.

I'm not discussing individual people publicly, not fair to anyone :)

Yep, creators of other mediums: written review, FB streaming, podcasts, etc still are very welcome and encouraged to apply. Their media will be assessed separately and metrics established for them.

Unfortunately, we do not do this sorta thing for players, you could reach out to the modifications community and see if someone could make something for you, but it would not be officially done.

As I have mentioned before, having the base requirements is not the only admission criteria into the program. It is also based on the assessment on the style of your content and how the individual conducts themselves.

As I have previously advised you privately, please wait again until the next round of applications if you are still interested. We are currently not on boarding anymore CCs at this stage beyond unique situations.

October at the earliest, however a date for the next round of applicants has not been set at this time.

If you are making content and meet the minimum requirements, you can apply.

Forum Streamline Icon: https://streamlinehq.com

Definitely apply with all your links, including your links in non-english languages, one of the benefits is that we do have staff around the world covering many languages, I'm sure we can find someone to review your content and determine if you are a fit for out program.

While majority of our CCs are on YT/Twitch, we definitely do consider other mediums. For example we have LittleWhiteMouse and Talleyrand who have written medium items, we also previously had Kelorn and Vanessaria who had a podcast. Ultimately if you are creating unique content of any format, that has a following, and interest in furthering that, we are happy to look at and consider your application.

I mean... taking screenshots isn't really creating unique content. While several of your SSs are aesthetically pleasing, they don't really convey any information about the game or whats going on within them. There is definitely more you could be doing with them which would move your content into an area we could be more interested in working with. Ultimately tho I cannot give you the answers as to how make yourself standout - that's for the individual creators to work out. Furthermore, views on content isn't the only factor we care about, what is your engagement like. After taking a quick peak, it seems majority of your SSs only have a few likes/comments on them, while your page has 19k views total, your individual content is not really engaging the community nor representing it.

Not really... its not so much how you're doing it, but what it contains and if the wider community finds it interesting. For example, before I joined WG originally, I was made a CC based on my focus on CVs, a highly unrepresented area of content coverage within the community. It didn't matter so much how I was playing them, or how I chose to cover them, it was the fact I was covering a community interest area in a way that the community engaged with. This is what made me unique. Looking at our current offerings of CCs, we have some that are more historical focused, some that focus on high end play, others focused on new player assistance. Each of them have a draw card that makes them unique. We're not really looking for another streamer playing the game and talking about their everyday life - it doesn't bring a new or unique engagement point.

I have no doubt on this. They do have impact, but their scale of impact is what needs to be considered. If I could attribute X actions taken as direct relation from generation of that specific content then there would be more grounds for sure. Right now, if content cannot amount views/clicks/viewers/listeners/discussion/etc, its very unlikely there is much knock on action from it.

Yes :)

There is ample staff supporting the discord and ensuring things are running smoothly.
