A swine for a hat is not a new concept to WHF. =) If I remember the story somewhat correctly there was a hedgewizard who claimed he had willed a pig atop his head, but he'd simply glued it there. This is somewhat paraphrased from a hazy memory but it's a thing.

Seriously? One hedge wizard claimed he had pig atop his head in some rare story and now its ok to use it as cosmetic? What the hell.

It wasn't a tall tale, it was just a pig glued to a wizard's head.
