One week in. A couple notes as we get into the weekend.
1. Drops are running 24/7. If you've watched a lot... take a break! CB access comes even when you're offline.
2. We hear you on demand. We've already increased CB server capacity +25% and are tracking down more internet.

On April 14, servers are going offline for 2 hours to patch some audio bugs and map exploits. For NA servers, at 4:30am PT, queues will 'freeze,' then go offline at 6am PT. For EU servers, we'll wait until April 15 - queues will 'freeze' at 3:30am CEST, go offline at 5am CEST.

Contents of tonight's EU hotfix (coming to NA tomorrow):
- Cypher's camera made less lethal under certain... circumstances
- Patched a number of map exploits
- Fixed audio dropping after consecutive games
For NA servers, we'll be going forward with this patch tomorrow (April 15). At 4:30am PT, queues will 'freeze,' then go offline at 6am PT. Expect them to be back up at 8am PT.

For those asking for ranked to be turned on - not today, sorry. We're evaluating on a day-by-day basis based on server stability and competitive integrity of the queues (e.g. no uncounterable exploits). Today is not that day. Will let you know tomorrow.

In the next 30 minutes we're going to turn ranked on in North America.
If all goes well there, we'll turn ranked on in Europe after the hotfix patch (so after 9:30AM CEST on May 1).
We also... reserve the right to turn off ranked at any time if things get weird.
With Unreal Engine deprecating Shader Model 4 and requiring SM5, we'll also need to increase the min-spec GPU requirement for VALORANT from Intel HD 3000 to Intel HD 4000. You can still play with lower-spec GPUs, but if compatibility issues come up, we won't be able to fix.

In an hour we're shipping a hotfix for Vanguard to +up its compatibility with cheat-vulnerable drivers. Most of the previously blocked drivers should now work. Some egregious ones will cause the game not to start but now very few will be blocked outright. Thanks for the feedback.

We're shipping a change that increases penalties for AFKs, which include longer queue restrictions for folks to AFK for multiple rounds. We'll keep an eye on these restrictions when there's service instability, but please commit to the games you queue up for.

We saw healthy ranked queues over the weekend for Korea, Brazil, and LATAM, so we will be leaving them on for the rest of Closed Beta!* (as long as they continue to stay healthy)
Tomorrow, May 19, at 4:30AM PT, NA/Brazil/LATAM will go offline for some server maintenance. Back up at 10AM PT.

Big thanks for the reports/videos you shared around hit registration feeling off. We found and are fixing a number of issues that compounded this, with the biggest being an actual hit registration bug that impacts low FPS players harder (it's a desync related to in-game FPS)
Mix this with movement inaccuracy changes and it being hard to tell between body/headshots with sparks (also blood accidentally being disabled) -- we hit a perfect storm of issues. Chasing down all of these things now.
Big thanks for the reports/videos you shared around hit registration feeling off. We found and are fixing a number of issues that compounded this, with the biggest being an actual hit registration bug that impacts low FPS players harder (it's a desync related to in-game FPS).

We've disabled upgrade levels on the Ghost Sovereign until next patch due to a bug where its third-person firing audio was playing unsilenced (making it gameplay impacting, even if negatively). We should have messaging in-client for future issues like these.
