Hey Captains,

Thank you for bringing this up, we are aware that there are some issues with the autopilot. We are working on fixing them.

Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience. As shown in the Developer's Blog there are some awesome things in store for the autopilot.

Hey Captains,

Sorry for the confusing wording but as with previous seasons of Clan Battles, you must first play a battle during the current season to be able to redistribute commander skills.

This is so you can take skills that you might have had setup for different things and redistribute them to other commander skills more fitting of the current clan battle season.

Katori is a fun ship to play, just really really really slow lol. The guns are good and you get decent damage, it just takes forever for you to get anywhere. That tip I give everyone about slow battleships applies to the Katori as well. Pick a place on the map and go but don't think you are going to flex around the map lol.

Hey Blue_Darter,

This might be a dumb question, but have you updated your video card drivers recently?

Hey ReflectionTrial,

Yes, if you have the Siroco in your port and you unlock it through the directives and missions, you will get compensated in doubloons.

Hey Captain_Rawhide,

I think what this comes down to the most is what ship you can see yourself playing more and enjoying more. Do you feel comfortable or have more sustained success in either of these?

I personally would go for the Henri but that is because the Minotaur play style doesn't fit how I play.

Hey Captains,

The North Carolina is one of my favorite ships and has been for a long time. The ship has great accuracy, AA and maneuverability. One of the downsides of the North Carolina is the slow shell velocity. I tell everyone that asks for tips on the North Carolina, to aim where you want and add a little more lol. The North Carolina is also the USN BB that gets you out of the 21 knot doldrums.

Tips for the North Carolina:

When you aim, add a little!

Don't go broadside because you will take big damage.

You will find yourself bow in sometimes because you do have good bow armor.

Your guns are accurate but pretend the third turret doesn't exist unless you are kiting away or maneuvering.

The shells hit hard and you typically get good pen damage on the superstructure because of the way the shells fall.

Good luck with the North Carolina and thanks for asking about tips to play her!

Anytime, glad the community can be of help =).

A few tips:

Time your heal correctly because you can recover a lot of health on the Nelson.

Angle, yes the armor on the Nelson is squishy but you can still angle and this is somewhat easier with the disposition of the guns.

Do not be afraid to shoot AP in the Nelson!

Most of all, learn how to play the Nelson and you will enjoy it!

Good luck.

Hey xalmgrey,

The Nelson is a good ship as long as you take into account her weaknesses. The Nelsons strength lies in her ability to have all guns facing forward at the same time, good fire chance and awesome heal. The Nelson does have a few major weaknesses and that includes a thin bow, susceptibility of catching on fire and just plain taking a lot of damage. A lot of the damage taken can be negated by using the heal properly (long cool down time so make sure you use it at the most opportune times).

What this really comes down to is if you like tier VII first of all. I think tier VII is a great tier and there are a lot of good ships there. Do you like British BBs and how they play (mainly HE with some AP mixed in). Do you have any need for the Nelson right now unless you are trying to add to your collection.

I think the Nelson is still a great ship!

Good luck and enjoy the Nelson if you decide to get her.

Hey Takao_Aoki_

The captain in the bundle is just a normal 10 point captain, sorry!

Well seeing as Tier VI has my favorite BB in the game. I would suggest the Fuso! =). There are many ships at Tier VI that are quite fun to play. Some other players listed some good ones already in this thread to give you some advice.

BB: Fuso and Warspite are both great choices.

Cruisers: Molotov, Budyonny and Pensacola (I know lol) are good choices.

DD: This I am not so sure on because I don't play DDs in scenarios.

Yup, that is the spiderweb one. I honestly have never used the "dynamic crosshair", maybe I am just a creature of habit when it comes to my reticle choice lol.

Ohhh! Thanks for the info. I honestly haven't used mods in a long time but thanks for the heads up and that is great info for others!

Hey Captains,

This is an interesting topic to see on the forums and one that comes up from time to time.

Let me ask you a few questions for clarification from you all, so we can have a healthy discussion on this.

What constitutes "seal-clubbing"? Is it experienced players playing lower tiers? Is it experienced players playing lower tiers with high level captains? Is it experienced players using ships that are deemed "too good"?

What tier is the tier that you consider it not "seal-clubbing" and just playing the game? Is that like tier VI?

Granted, I do not play a lot of lower tier ships but I have been known to dabble in lower tiers every once in awhile.

Hey Wepps,

Glad to see the community was able to help you out! Enjoy taking some awesome screenshots in the game and in the port!

A tip: In the port if you hold down the right mouse button, it should take away all the UI information and just leave you the port/ship. This can lead to some great still screenshots being taken.

Another place you can take screenshots, is in the training room this way you won't have any of your camouflages or signals impacted.

Hey park_h,

To switch your reticle, go into your settings and go to the control panel.

Once you hit the "select crosshair" button, click the drop down menu and select "type 7".

This will get you to the reticle that Fem uses and that some of the rest of us use as well =).

Hopefully this help you out and good luck on the seas!

Hey Captains,

It is nice to see you all talking about the French DDs and how captains should be specced.

Feel free to take a look at this guide that I wrote up. It might not be 100% correct and it won't fit everyone's playstyle =).

For those you have unlocked some of the French DDs or played the premium ones, what would be your biggest tip to someone just learning them?

Did the ships you played happen to have a "symbol of France" on them and you already got your win of the day in them?
