u/JagexGambit any news on this for this weeks update?
Yep! We discussed it and it's intentionally been left out. The cane is considered an extra item and not part of the set. We raised and acknowledged arguments for both sides (some players buying T3 GE sets may be disappointed when they don't get a cane too), but it's also tricky now that GE sets without canes exist in the game.

In the meantime, leave any questions you have for the team down below and we'll answer as many as we can during the stream.
:) I do freelance UX and UI design if Jagex is ever looking for some additional help :)

any update?
Yep! It's being re-homed, along with the looting bag, ornate maul handle, saradomins tear, msb + row scrolls and clue box in this week's update. Details will be in the update post.
Why not just revert to bh1 in the meantime?
The first iteration of BH was still farmed/boosted. Things just got more extreme post-rework because of the increase in profitability.
Where can I get another rune pouch? Is the only option now to spend 750 slayer points?
The rune pouch will find a new home very soon (maybe next week), while BH is on hiatus.
Touché.
Hi, Gambit! Did you receive any respons from the team regarding this?
Yep! Tl;dr is we overlooked it at the design stage and therefore didn’t include it in the poll question. Because it wasn’t in there, we didn’t do it. Since it was an oversight, we’ve added it to the backlog for future consideration.
With the spice rack, it just holds the spices that you catch right? Or does it mean you can get unlimited spices from there without fighting rats?
You have to obtain the spices yourself which you can then store in the rack.
Add other builds to LMS. It would be a perfect intro to pvp if there were more beginner-friendly formats than nh tribridding
Agreed - we have some builds ready and plan to do this when we’re able.

Can I ask why it doesn't? I mean, you made the Gem Bag work with pickpocketing Tzhaar creatures, so why not make seed box work for farmers?
I'll ask the rest of the team to get their thoughts, but I suspect this is because we aren't looking to buff Master Farmers in that way.
It wont be anywhere near as it has been because the money isnt gaurnanteed each kill. And they will not farm kills to get a good loot once every few hours.
If it's profitable enough, I think they would. If it's not, then I don't think regular players would be keen to play.
It's not obvious how to fix that.
How about some kind of ELO system? I don't play anymore but when I did I wanted to get in to PVP but I'd much rather go against someone that sucked as much as I do.
I understand from the dev who ran into similar design issues for PvP in RS3 that ELO is not the silver bullet we're hoping for. ELO can still be boosted/manipulated/sold so it can't be attached to any reward system. In games like League it's not a problem because your ELO is the primary 'currency'. But in OSRS, it would run alongside the GP economy which will always be more important to some players. Hence the incentive to sell ELO points etc.
You guys will need to focus on situations that include actual PvP and not just PKing. From there, you can encourage matchups between players of more equal skill. Bounty Hunter was a great first step in laying the groundwork for this, exploits aside.
As it stands right now, there's this constant cycle where PKers complain about the Wilderness being dead, content is added to the wilderness designed to lure non-PKers to the Wilderness, then said content dies because nobody wants to be killed by random PKers. The PKers aren't happy because this hasn't provided any long term benefit, and nobody else is happy and cry about it on reddit. All this does is turn the community against each other, and the current state of PvP is the result of that. Based on the polls, there's at least a solid 15% of the voting playerbase that actively votes no to every PvP update. That's not a problem, that's a symptom of the problem. The fact that there's a significant portion of the playerbase that feels that the advancement of PvP actively harms their experience is not the sign of a healthy game.
There's a conflict of interest when it comes to the polls for sure. In terms of matching players based on skill, that's not easily done. ELO can still be boosted/sold. But I agree with the sentiment.
Did you guys extend your legal relationship with the Wiki team?
That's a very specific question. The nature of our relationship with the Wiki team didn't have to change in order for this to happen. We would have done it sooner, but the team responsible have been busy with improvements to the opening game experience.
Why not doing a ep system for bh like before? If they attempt to boost atleast regular pkers with high ep can hunt them hopefully forcing them out. Also high ep boosting was never a forsure good drop and not guaranteed money like bh2 and 2. Plus maybe can be modified drops if kill someone on same ip?
If it's boostable in any way, I suspect we'll eventually run into the same problem.
Does the seed box also work on seeds picked up from farmers pockets?
No
