@JagexGambit while these awesome updates are happening can the lunar spell book be revisited? Certain spells, specifically the one that views another players stats, seem outdated.
We're open to suggestions :)

Wanna fix polls? Keep em open long enough that people can actually take part in them if they go on vacation or have a hard/busy time for a week so someone other than the no-lifing sweats and merchers can actually get a vote in.
And as for your integrity changes slow down on those or go for game mechanic and lore consistency over loud mercher and mob streamer agendas. Hotfixes to new content obviously excepted with the lack of game testing that goes on before updates, as much as people would have loved to keep those twisted bow spawns.
Shouldn't be too hard to run overlapping polls so there's always a chance or at least a couple weeks to make your voice heard though IDK if there'd be engine issues there since it submits a form. IE: Run poll 1 for 2-4 weeks and begin poll 2 halfway in, then begin poll 3 at the end of the period when you pull poll 1 then continue on giving each poll the same amount of time. Ideally this gives extra time and information on how you (jamflex) should adjust and continue with (or when to stop) new updates and with each revolution give us (the players) a more solid grip on the whole picture instead of a panel of the puzzle-box at a time.
Though this would give multi-acc whales and bot farms more time to abuse the system it would give the polls a better chance to reach the filthy casuals who have those weird things called Lives in that shitty zone called IRL. Maybe slap an IP limit on votes the same way you slap an IP limit on vanilla clients open at a time because of non-existent advertising reasons.
Though people would probably find a work around for that I'm just pitching my 2 cents that ain't worth the copper it's printed on.
Hey Zomby, thanks for your two cents on this. Sadly we can't run two or more polls simultaneously due to limitations of the polling system. We always do our best to keep polls open as long as possible (aiming for 5 days like this one will be). Though usually the results from day 1 and day 2 rarely change by day 5.
We also aim to make sure they run over a weekend so that players who don't get on much during the week also have a chance to vote.
Hope this helps!
Let us know which questions you’d like answered on this week’s Q&A at 5pm UK time!
We love this idea too and definitely haven’t forgotten it! For now it’s a case of going with something like recolours which take less time than creating new models until the art team are less busy with big projects like the Morytania expansion.
So any update on a cerb improvement to help those of us that are color blind? I still find cerb painfully difficult to do since not being allowed to use the plug-in that made it so i can accurately see what is going on.
The graphics team are planning to work this into their next sprint so with some luck, this’ll be done before the year is out.
Some really nice stuff in here! Looking forward to the poll.
Glad you like it!
Only thing I'm voting no on is the graceful change. I think set bonuses are an important thing to maintain.
There would still be a large set bonus.
Make OSRS harder? When have u ever polled something to make the game harder, lol
Not voting something through doesnt make something harder, it maintains status quo, which means that the game is cemented, anchored on very firm principles which is what the game should be about. Not this fluid "up in the air" nonsense.
Terrible comment. And from a Jmod. Yikes.
EDIT: Thanks for the gold kind stranger!
EDIT2: Thanks again kind stranger!
Fair criticism. Sorry you didn't like the meme!
I made a lot of suggestions in the Q&A thread as requested: https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/dhnd7v/submit_your_questions_for_this_weeks_qa_16102019/f3uclnm/
Not saying all should have been considered, but for none of them to be seems a little strange as at least one must be applicable?
This is a great list. I've made sure the suggestions reached the backlog for consideration in future poll - sorry they didn't make it into this round.
Might want to add this clarification to the question before the poll goes live. I would hate to see a QOL update shot down solely because fewer than 75% of people understood the wording.
Thanks for the feedback :)
The dragonstone armour option C is wonderful- it no longer feels out of place, but it's unique enough that it will still stand out.
A+ work to whoever did the models.
Credit to Mod West for that one
Lots of nice changes in here, I'll probably vote yes to almost everything I don't skip out of ignorance (raids, mostly).
The stuff about stews/spice though, I might vote against. I really dislike the whole mechanic and would rather have some proper boosts available than just grinding random stews/spices and hoping.
In lieu of an alternate stat boosting method (we don't have any designs or plans for one), you would vote against making the existing one nicer to use?
While we're messing with the charter ships can we add numbers on the destinations to select them with the keyboard and get rid of the "are you sure you want to pay" dialogue to streamline the process slightly?
Nice suggestion - thanks!
I feel like this should be buffed, even if no one still uses it. 2% is a joke. Even 10% would still be a joke but at least make a noticeable difference.
Probably! I didn't realise it was so low until checking what the torch item actually does. I'll make a note for us to look at increasing it.
For the recoloring of the Phoenix pet, is it 1000 gnomish firelighters every time you want to change the color or 1000 to unlock that specific recolor?
E.g. I have a white pheonix pet but want to change it to red. Didn't like the color so would I have to obtain 1000 more white gnomish firelighters to change the color again?
The firelighters would be consumed.
@/u/JagexGambit - Would it be possible to implement ranked choice or approval voting for future A/B/C polls? The current approach, which is first-past-the-post, has the potential to lead to some poor outcomes.
The dragonstone armour poll, for example, suffers from the spoiler effect. Even if 66% of the playerbase wanted the design to be changed, it could still fail if the vote was split 34/33/33.
This was brought up during the Elves polls, which had the same problem but ultimately didn't make a difference because of the overwhelming demand for a different elf design.
We've played with the idea of alternate voting systems including the ones you mention. Internal discussion about the polling system generally is still ongoing so no change just yet. For the Dragonstone armour poll, that one will simply be decided by whichever gets the most votes rather than having to get 75% on any of the options. That'd be insanely unlikely.
im against the beginner clue reward emote.
Fair enough. Is there a different reward you'd like to see for that milestone?
By "storing" an infinite number of spices you mean that you'll have to collect them and place them into storage still, right?
Yes
Not all interfaces need to be the exact same. Sure, interfaces for crafting items should be in-line, but unique interfaces like this one should stay. Otherwise we're just going to have everything be a brown interface, which is extremely boring. It doesn't even help in this instance, as who is ever going to be buying multiples of the rewards from this shop? (Nobody goes there to buy thousands of runes)
Fair enough! If enough people agree with you, the change won't go through.
Hi Gambit, thanks for polling the prayer reordering again given it was a near-miss.
If I can throw in my 2 cents, having prayer reordering is super valuable as a PKer who does both pure/main bridding as I can keep muscle memory for my range/mage consistent across PKing. I really hope this passes (for selfish reasons). I feel like if this poll fails, it detriments the PKers who don't use dubious clients because their competitors still will - the team have acknowledged that plugins such as these are virtually undetectable atm.
Also for what it's worth, it's already on the unacceptable plugins list. That's why there was a recently increased demand for it.
It seemed right to repoll given the the extremely close margin last time plus the recent demand for the reasons you describe. If it fails again, I could see it being one of the things revisited when we have a renewed approach to polling PvP content since this affects PvP more than PvM.
