I think it was announced that a Community Update was due today - I can see how that would be interpreted as a patch.

Edit: Please correct me if I’m wrong!

Could you try the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option please?:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Try this:

  1. Remove the gpu_detection.dll in the ‘launcher’ directory:
    Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\launcher
  2. Proceed to launch Darktide as normal, via Steam

This is a tough one. Is there anything in your Windows Event Viewer (under ‘Windows Logs’ > ‘System’) that corresponds with when this has occurred?

This will be resolved in our next patch. Thank you for your continued patience

Yes! There are promising improvements in this area with our next patch.

Please keep us posted on how it performs for you once the patch is live.

Are there any more Windows updates available for download?

We’re working on both of these, apologies.

So, it’s my understanding this issue pertains to outdated AMD BIOS versions.

Is anybody able to pull up their BIOS version and let me know what it is, please?

You might be able to do this via ‘System Information’ → ‘System Summary’ → ‘BIOS Version/Date’

I apologise but I’m not able to restore your rewards, as much as I wish I could. I’ll pass this on to development in case anything can be done to prevent such situations occurring. I appreciate this is a disappointment.

It’s most likely there is a driver or hardware instability at play in this situation. Please see:
