Hmmm! Timer begins within the Bell area, smash the chains up and drop down to where the Rat Ogre spawns but skip him - keep running, the achievement may not pop immediately.
Thank you for reporting, I’ve raised this in our database.
If a report has been acknowledged, it’s in our database and awaiting resolution.
There is no need to repost crashes that have already been acknowledged. Crashes are a high priority by default, and I cannot make development work any quicker.
Could you try one more solution for me - a Selective Startup, if you haven’t already:
- Press the Windows key
- Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
- On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
- Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
- Reboot your PC
- Launch Vermintide 2 as normal, and attempt to replicate the issue
If the above is unsuccessful, I will then escalate this to our Network Engineer. It would help us out if you could include your most recent console logs, which can be located using the instructions below:
- Press the Windows key + R
- Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
- Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Crash reports, pleeeease!
I’ve asked our Engine Developer to have a look at your crash reports, and will let you know once I’ve heard back.
@Kauffy Which Anti-Virus are you using?
Thank you for your report, I’ve popped this over to our QA department.
I completely understand.
Our Console Developers are aware of the connectivity issues being reported, and are working on a patch.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Ok so, you don’t need to worry about the eac_launcher executable. Let’s take that out of the equation and ignore any errors produced by that.
Let’s start clean by:
- Remove the ‘Certificates’ directory located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\EasyAntiCheat - Then, proceed to repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat - Verify integrity via Steam
Then, please launch Vermintide 2 and screenshot any errors displayed.

It looks like you were eventually able to log in last night, is that right?
After rebooting the PC, and without closing Vermintide 2, can you play uninterrupted? But as soon as you close and subsequently re-launch Vermintide 2, the error re-occurs?
We’ll check it out!
Just to add to Smoker’s comment above, I’d recommend having a look at this article: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360038965013--PC-PC-crashing-losing-responsiveness-or-Blue-Screening-BSOD-
I know you’ve mentioned you’re not using BullGuard, but I’m interested to know - which Anti-Virus are you using?
It’s my understanding that this is as expected. I did raise this internally previously and was informed that it was ‘Working as Designed’.
Pop me a PM and we can sort that out for you.
