It would be a wasted resources if we would cancel it completely a week before release. Plus we never expected that literally every one will like it.
But anyway, we are monitoring your feedback and we consider everything. However, if a feedback has some arguments and suggestions (I don't like this mechanic because it works this way, I suggest you make it that way because... blah-blah) that's kinda cool even if it's negative. But comments like "Oh no, it's so boring" is kinda useless for the devs.

Just keep in mind that if you haven't seen that compensation is gonna be in doubloons then it's always in credits.

Surely you can get it from daily ones. And no, we didn't reduce the frequency since it doesn't have any time limits so there is no reason for reducing the chances.

Plus I want to remind, that Research Bureau will have seasons. So in the end those "Space whales" will be on the same level as everyone else after they spend their Free XP :)
Because those market speech is about biggest part of players for which this feature is designed, not about particular players who you can't consider as "regular" ones.
It was never our intention to keep someone in the low tiers plus it's anyway nearly impossible when we speak about someone with millions of Free XP. And we don't think that designing an entire feature just for several very-hardcore players is a good idea.

It was changed afterwards since that feature is aimed for experienced players. So we came to a conclusion that players with only two tier X ships should focus on new content: try other ship types and explore new branches.
TL;DR - 10.000 Research Points you receive as one-time bonus if you are eligible for Research Bureau.
If you have at least five Tier X ships researched, you will gain access to the Research Bureau, along with a one-time reward of 10,000 Research Points and the option to reset any of the researched branches of ships.
After resetting a branch, the Tier VI–X ships of that branch will have special Research Point marks which can be “scored” by gaining a victory in battle, similarly to bonus Stars of Victory. “Scoring” such marks will bring Research Points to players.
All branches excluding CV can bring you up to 10.000 points each after researching it again. CV branch can bring you up to 8.000 points because it takes ~20% less XP to research.
Nichijou and One Punch Man are both very funny and I strongly recommend you to fill that void in your anime list
