Basically The "head" portion of the shield should be a bit wider, giving more consistent protection against headshots from opponents in front of you The character model's also need to have slight adjustments to how they actually hold the shield If you look it up, you see that in real life the users of these shields have their face UP IN the shield
Whereas, in R6, they kinda hold the shield out in front of them, increasing exposure to headshots
I would strongly argue for some balance tweaks, but the above will definitely increase shield CONSISTENCY. Once shields are consistent, then we can start discussing the actual balance of performance. I appreciate the response!

I've been encountering this issue for the last few weeks upon my return to this game. Sadly what was once one of my all time favorite games has become unplayable. Each time I have played this game I have an issue where I will play a couple of games and then find myself having a ping of around 200, prior to this my ping will be at a stable 9-17 and then I'm gone. I've spent well over $400 and to have such a horrible experience is atrocious. At this point I'm stuck playing the worst game of all time in Fifa 20. Please either tell me how to resolve these issues in which occur or make changes to your servers which have been the at the best horrible.
This is the worst way to return to a game in which I used to enjoy playing at one point.

I think even we had a discussion (or maybe it was another Ubi-staff) where we broke down the issue, with still-images highlighting the exact problem (The post was a good while ago and I couldnt not find it to bring it up)
But basically, the issues can be accurately summed up as follows: #1- The 1st person view lies to the player about what they are, and are not exposed to
If i can see a threat, within the view of my ballistic glass, it stands to reason that the glass is between my head, and the threat
But in reality, the character can actually have his head, well exposed More specifically, the 1st person view tells the player "your head is UP IN the ballistic glass, well covered and protected
