Since the team decided not to add the tome, it's currently not relevant anymore, but from a design perspective it makes sense. The idea behind this is to add a valuable drop without rendering Corp obsolete while simultaneously keeping incentive to kill the new boss. (Do not mind the concept image, it's the idea that counts, not the 2 min. recolored spirit shield)

With lower level bosses I don't mind if their items become obsolete at some point, but considering the high requirements to kill corp solo, or the necessity to team up at lower lvl, I think its drops should stay relevant.

We did consider this solution, but made the decision not to proceed with it as while this solution logically makes sense, it was never intended to have any sort of connection to spirit shields or corp in the first place. Going ahead with this type of solution would feel like a desperate fix, rather than recognizing it was a mistake in the first place.

We're not opposed to these types of solutions in the future, but in this case we felt it didn't make much sense. I appreciate the suggestion though, so thank you!

Technically it can restore up to 37 on task if my math is right and only that staff and spec passes, but that's kinda splitting hairs. Carrying a potential 5 way switch and using 75% Spec Attack energy to save about 2 p-pot doses seems a bit excessive to me.

It's capped at 120 prayer points. The spec on average will restore around 12-17 prayer points and costs 75% spec energy. This spec could result in you restoring anywhere between 0 and 34 points depending on gear and luck.

Twisted League has soon been out for a week, and I feel like I have to show some appreciation towards you guys and your engagement regarding the update.

I’ve seen so many posts, comments and tweets with many kind words, great feedback and valid, useful criticism. This can’t be taken for granted as a dev, so thank you for sharing your opinions and ideas.

This update was something I and many others from the team really believed in, but of course we can’t know how it will play out in reality until release. I feel like many of you legit gave the update a shot before making your mind up and that means the world.

We’ve had a blast with this update and it seems like you guys like it too, so hopefully we can keep this train going. Peronally, in the future, I’d like to keep the game mode fresh by avoiding too much repetition and keep the key parts that you all seem to enjoy. That way, when a League starts, we can all be noobs together again. Apart from Woox.

Dude seeing this makes me so happy. This is what I talked about pretty early on in a livestream when the concept was in the making. I really hope we can achieve this to some degree in future Leagues as well, because to me it’s one of the core parts of the design.
