Are you 100% certain it uninstalled Vermintide 2? It's handled separately, so it certainly shouldn't have done that. You should be able to have both installed at the same time, providing you have enough space on your drive!
Let's keep it constructive.

Just to add to this - unfortunately we can't honour specific requests, such as resetting individual heroes, purely due to limitations in our backend. We can only wipe the account as a whole. :)
Also - if you're looking to make some space on your drive, you could also clear your 'console logs' and 'crash dumps' directories which are located here:1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select 'OK'
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select 'OK'
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2

Unfortunately it has come to our attention that customers of Telekom, and their subsidiaries T-Mobile and 1 & 1, are experiencing Sign-In Timeout errors in Vermintide 2.This is a widespread issue and is not isolated to Vermintide 2. (For example, Overwatch is also affected)Telekom have acknowledged the issue in Tweets sent to customers but have not communicated it well to the public. We've Tweeted them in hopes that they can shed some light on what's actually happening, and how long we can expect to wait until the issue is addressed. ---If you are not a customer of Telekom or one of Telekom's subsidaries and are experiencing the Sign-In Timeout error, please run through the solutions listed here: https://en.kundo.se/org/fatshark/d/how-to-resolve-sign-in-timeout-errors/

Welp.. Download is 10Mbps and upload is 0.4Mbps.
Aah... Your upload speed is likely to be the problem here, unfortunately!
What's your connection like - download and upload speeds?

This was completely unrelated to the Steam maintenance.
You may experience errors during this time. https://downdetector.com/status/steam

On launch? Both our servers and Steam appear to be doing OK, but we'll keep an eye on this. Edit: Now it seems Steam is having problems.
Could you all re-launch and let me know if this is still an issue for you?
Agh, looking in to it!
Locking post, let's keep it constructive. I assume you're referring to Backend Error 1113, which has been addressed in another post.
