Luckily I was only a level 4 and I didn't do any real looting but jesus christ. It was a terrible feeling. I couldnt even imagine if it was my thousand hour plus character from D1.

How it happened: My right stick press is mapped to my paddle (elite controller) in back. I turned my xbox on, loaded up the division and put my controller down to go get a drink...well when I put it on my chair the paddle was pressed and held... when I got back and had no character I was sad. About 3 hours of time gone.

@Massive...I wish there was a prompt you had to okay AFTER holding the button. :-(
